Spacious home and garden in charming, peaceful village. Katja and Andrej were very hospitable, welcoming us when we arrived and helping with local recommendations. House was comfortable, clean and everything worked well. We especially liked the outdoor patio area (complete with a grape and wisteria arbor) and the lovely garden. Plenty to explore in the area and a lovely rural setting!

Great for a large group of people. An old renovated dairy (we were in a group of 9 people ) A place with a "soul" Comfort of the space. A large comfortable kitchen, a huge dining room, and a living room. All consistent with the description. Very clean and mega pleasant John is incredibly welcoming and friendly. A house nestled on the edge of a forest with a wonderful view of the mountains. Great base for exploring Tiest, Opatija. I also recommend it for cyclists . John, thank you so much for the opportunity to spend a few days in your home. We got the wonderful summer weather and unforgettable moments in bonus. We loved this place and had such a great time here, Sonja and Andrej were lovely and welcoming and made us feel very much at home. We stayed for a week, but wished it was longer! The house is really nice, exceptional even and probably the nicest Airbnb we've stayed in. It's been restored to great standard, and obviously with a lot of care and attention, which makes it a really nice place to be. All three bedrooms were generous with large comfy beds and ensuite bathrooms, with one having an extra little loft space which our youngest son loved. The huge garden also has a nice place to sit and enjoy the peaceful countryside. Although the house is on the main road through the village, there's no noise. We used the house as a base for day-trips and visited Venice, Ljubljana, Piran, Izola, Bled and the Skocjan and Postojna caves (we recommend the Skocjan ones for the best experience, but Postojna caves are also amazing). We had planned to visit Croatia from here also, but ran out of days!

We enjoyed our stay at Luka's place. The accommodation is comfortable and has all the necessary amenities. Luka is very friendly as well as the rest of her family. We loved being able to order Thai food prepared by Luka and her family. Everything we tasted was great. We also tested the Thai massages offered and it was really nice. We highly recommend this place, the value for money is undeniable.

Matej and Andreja's apartment was very stylishly furnished and very well equipped. Our highlight was definitely the sauna in the bathroom, which we could use at any time! The property is perfectly located for excursions in the area (Postojna and Skocjan Cave). Supermarket is a 5-minute walk away. Matej and Andreja were both very warm, gave us recommendations for the area and were just great hosts!! We really enjoyed our stay:)

Lovely little spot with plenty of space. The Loft over the river is like nowhere else you will have stayed. Definitely worth it if you're in the area for a couple days.

We wanted to give at least 6 stars!! Marta was such a great hostess, welcoming us with open arms and lots of stories and tips on what to do. When one of us fell sick on the second day, Marta cared for us like a mother. She prepared fresh teas and made sure we had everything to make a quick recovery. It was a unique experience to live with her for a week and get to know her and the surroundings. Regarding the surroundings, there is plenty to do within a 30 min drive, whether you want to climb a mountain, visit a museum, descend into a cave, or go swimming in Croatian waters... Everything is nearby. 100% recommended as a place to stay, both for the hostess and the location!
