Family-friendly vacation rentals in Igoumenitsa

We spent a perfect, very relaxing time in this house and can really only recommend it. If you like peace and privacy, you are in good hands here. The house is in a secluded location, in the middle of a beautiful and well-kept garden. Our highlight was the outdoor hot tub, which was recently rebuilt. We found the house sparkling clean on arrival and we were very happy about the welcome basket with treats that was waiting for us there. The communication with Πέτρος was completely straightforward and friendly. He responded very quickly to our questions, gave us tips and asked in between if we were doing well or if we needed anything. Thank you so much :-) .

Angelo’s studio 3 has been superb! Spacious, well equipped and comfortable room. Always a wonderful surprise on what might be provided in the breakfast basket every morning. Lovely peaceful pool area with breathtaking views over Lakka and the bay. Extremely comfortable sun beds and a very nice infinity pool. Often facilities do not match what is advertised in this case, they exceeded them! Andreas was very helpful with advise on the best way to get to Paxos and organised a loan car, which was delivered to Angelos village. Can’t not mention Hara, who was brilliant throughout our stay. Provided recommendations on some Fanta restaurants, beaches and a memorable boat trip to the Arch and Blue Lagoons with Giannis. Thank you for a lovely holiday!

Rena was an amazing host and incredibly helpful whenever we needed anything, from finding a taxi to working the barbecue. The house is amazing with a huge pool and lovely garden. Could not recommend staying here enough you will definitely love it!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was lovely, quiet and private. Beautiful views. Just a 10-15 walk from Lakka down quite a steep road. Only a 10 minute walk to a pretty beach. Ioanna provided some food when we arrived which was a thoughtful touch.

Luxury, cosy and authentic villa. Very high quality products and materials. Extremely helpful and polite team. Magical landscape.

The villa is extremely clean. Maria keeps everything in perfect shape and order. Bathrooms are cleaned every day and every three days the whole house + changing the sheets and towels. The garden is big enough and there is a playground and BBQ. I think its not clear in the villa's description, but at the place there are bicycles you can use for free. Hosts are very responsive as they live nearby and ready to help for anything. All in all we were very happy from our stay and would return if we plan a holiday in Sivota. Beautiful studio in small complex with brilliant pool facilities. It feels very luxurious yet still personal and unique. The most beautiful view of Lakka from the whole place- including spectacular sunsets! There’s a very steep path into the town (around 7 minute walk) so be mindful of this is you have any mobility issues and won’t be driving into town. The studio itself is immaculate and the hot tub with views of the harbour wonderful! Breakfast is amazing and freshly cooked for you at your room each morning. If you get the chance to get a massage from Melina then do it! All hosts wonderful in communication and so very friendly and welcoming. Would recommend to anyone!

My husband and I stayed at Red House for a week with our 9 year old twins and had a wonderful time. You would be hard pushed to find a better view on the island and the location was perfect for strolling to dinner in the evenings. Hera and Andreas were perfect hosts and were immediately contactable throughout our stay. A most delicious breakfast was brought up in a hamper each morning and usually doubled up as lunch too as it was so plentiful. Our favourite places to visit were Orkos beach, Erimitis beach, Mongonissi and Ben’s bar. We hired a boat for the day from Papas which was great and particularly loved dinner at AKIS and Stasinos. We loved our stay so much and hope to return!

Altin and his family were amazing hosts. Made us feel very welcome.. like we were home. Apartment is walking distance to restaurants, beaches and cafes but just far enough away that its out of the crazy hustle and bustle!

Nice little apartment with everything you need. Calm area, only 15 minutes to the city center. Great hosts!

Everything good, Babis is a very nice person

A perfect apartment on a perfect location with a perfect houseowner. The apartment was perfect clean, it had everything you could need for your stay,the kitchen was equipped with everything necessary.There was a complinent from Thomas in the fridge.The beach is in your feet,the main street of Plataria with many restaurants is on one step away.The apartment is quiet and good for rest.There are some shops near. Parga and many beautiful beaches are on 20 min with car,Sivota is on 10min. Perfect location for Corfu,Igumenica,Acheron springs and many other places. Thomas was a perfect host. He meet us and show us the apartment,gave us more useful advices for restaurants,beaches and intersting places to visit. He always responded quickly when needed. We will come back for sure. Everything was perfect! Thank you,Thomas!

The view is worth all of it! It’s a small but cozy studio, bear in mind the one with the children’s beds would be more suitable for little children. It is very close to the central part of Parga and when you read complaints about the slope - the whole town is this way, actually this is a great location. And, as mentioned, the view from the balcony is magnificent, worths having that for the morning coffee:)

We had a truly wonderful stay at Hammock House. The stylish villa is spotlessly clean with an elegant terrace and pool. Hara was always contactable for help, she gave us lots of useful information and advice. There are some beautiful secluded beaches within walking distance. Lakka was our favourite town, full of fantastic restaurants with idyllic views and friendly locals. Be prepared for a steep climb up to the villa, but it’s worth it! We’d love to come back… Thank you!

My family and I have just returned from a fabulous 10 days at Villa Evanna. Yannis was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble, from taking us food shopping, arranging our taxi from the airport, electric tripped and he was there within minutes. Not to mention the groceries in the fridge and a pizza delivery when we arrived as we were late. He came every morning to clean the pool area and Emma came each day to clean, make beds etc. we cannot fault any aspect of our trip or the outstanding hospitality. The immediate surroundings of the villa are quiet and a little ‘rustic’ but the riverside (5mins walk) is really lovely and very reasonable. We took a boat trip to Paxos and Antipaxos on the advice of our driver. The island of Paxos is beautiful with fantastic scenery and turquoise waters. We walked to the port which took us about 25 minutes, but thankfully there is a very nice café port side. Kavos is about 7 mins in a taxi and cost 10 euros and we ate in Tomata (recommended also).

We had a great stay at Ioanna’s. It’s very peaceful, well equipped and a very short walk to the beach and restaurants. We all had a truly relaxing holiday. Ioanna is super-friendly and helpful/ we couldn’t have asked for more.

Our stay at Villa Boukari was fantastic. The view from the terrace alone on our arrival was awesome. Alex gave us a personal tour and showed us everything. He was extremely accommodating with regard to check-in and check-out times. The villa was sparkling clean, picturesquely located and it was wonderfully quiet. Nearby are several hiking trails that lead to beautiful and authentic Cretan mountain villages. And the view is, as I said, priceless. We'll definitely be back.

Brilliant location, house and host!

Quiet area. Excellent view of the city and mountains. Big, well maintained space.

We stayed at Douros Villa with our family of 7. Our amazing hosts welcomed us at the bottom of the path up to the villa, they helped with the cases and showed us all around. We were amazed at how clean and beautiful the Villa was and the fantastic views it offered over Parga Town and the harbour front. Only a 5-10 min walk to Parga centre, we found the location to be ideal. You do need to walk up a fairly steep path to the villa but it’s not long and the rewards at the top more than make up for it. It was also very nice having the pool, we found it ideal for an evening dip whilst watching the sunset. Our hosts were always at hand to answer any questions and the communication throughout was second to none. I couldn’t recommend this Villa enough, we loved our stay here and would definitely like to return.

We just came back from a wonderful stay at Alexander. The views from the villa is absolutely stunning. The host was incredibly friendly and always willing to help with anything. The only thing we wish we'd known beforehand was that all barbecues was banned, which is something we really looked forward to and was part of the reason we chose this villa. There were water issues while we were there, but the host was very good at trying to manage this even though this was outside her control. Overall we'd love to return to Villa Alexander and would highly recommend anyone else to stay here too.
