Vacation rentals with beach access in Hydra

A hidden gem right by the sea. The property of Georgios is very unique and beautiful, The old olive trees in the big garden are very special. The terrace was amazing to just sit on and watch the Ocean. The close by beach and Tavern make it perfect! We loved this place to start off our Greece Vacation. Georgios is also very nice and easy in contact- we arrived very late, no problem for him. Thank you!

Great stay in a central location, little further from the port but the water taxis were fantastic for to and fro movement! The hostess was excellent, very responsive and flexible at all times. She did her best to make my stay as comfortable as she possibly could. I stayed at the property but also made a nice friend along the way! Thank you!

A home away from home. Fridge filled with drinks and snacks, complete kitchen with coffee and everything you need available, great clean bathroom … And then breakfast with omelette, pastries, fruit and yogurt at the desired time in front of the apartment .. I'll be back

Charming apartment making up the ground floor of Petros's place. The garden is stunning, with views across the town to the sea. Olive and citrus trees give dappled shade and there is an awning for when more shade is needed. Petros lives upstairs so is on hand and is extremely helpful. He not only picked us up at the port and gave us a lift back but also offered to take us to the supermarket and even to the Temple of Aphaia when he was going. The apartment is a 5-10 minute walk uphill from Marathonas A beach. A few minutes more brings you to the stretch of restaurants between the two beaches and a few minutes more the lovely Marathonas B beach. The walk has beautiful views across the bay to Moni and Perdika with the Peloponnese in the background. There is a well stocked supermarket near the A beach. There are buses to Aegina town and Perdika but only 2-3 per day. We walked to Aegina in about an hour and got a cab back for 8 euros. A fabulous, peaceful stay with a very helpful host.

Our stay at the house was wonderful, the house properly equipped and the view from the balcony beautiful! Next to all the shops and right across the sea, for us and our two little ones were a small nearby paradise for the rest we had imagined!! Mr. Christoforos was there all the time for what we wanted! Thanks, and we hope to see you again soon!

A beautiful location, super quiet and amazing view. Marika was very responsive and very helpful. Much quieter than Skala which is nice, but night life is easily accessible from a short walk. We have a really nice time. Thanks!

We loved Charlene's house. The property located in a very quiet/serene part of Hydra with breathtaking balcony ocean views overlooking the quaint harbour of Kimini. Some beautiful swim spots nearby and only a short walk into the main town of Hydra. We had the added bonus of the occasional company of a very friendly resident cat.

We loved Elena's place. It has a lot of charm, it is well designed and thought through. It has all that one can need, in a beautiful environment, with lots of things to do. Thanks a lot Elena for letting us stay in such a nice place.

Absolutely stunning view! We went outside of prime tourism season on purpose, and it was so beautiful and peaceful. We were met at the water taxi for help getting our luggage up to the house (thanks, Spiros!) and our host was very responsive and helpful with questions - and tons of great local recommendations! It is up about 50 stairs from the small harbor, so tough if anyone in your party has mobility issues. But the experience is absolutely worth it! Highly recommend.

Very nice stay in Aegina! Very responsive and kind hosts! The accommodation was as advertised, really close to the beach and restaurants. A supermarket is just across the street from the restaurants in question and has everything you need. Very close to the port less than a 10-minute drive). But also, as some reviews might say, the equipment in the house could be a little newer, like updating some details including the shutters/blinds that unfortunately didn't close for us. But other than that, the essentials were there and we had a great time!! 😊

Bill and Helena’s place is an authentic, private, and peaceful house tucked in the hills of Hydra. If you’re looking for charm, homey details, and comfort, this is your spot. Close enough to the city center but far enough away to sleep with the windows open. Beautiful stone slab bathroom on the first floor, lofty wood beam ceiling in the main bedroom. We felt safe at night and relaxed leaving our belongings at home during the day.

An utterly charming spot 💫

Well to begin with, Ilias is great at communication, which is good when one does not speak Greek like us. But really what stood out for us was the view of the island from the house. We were there for our wedding anniversary and this was perfect. The house is perfectly located, it is high up above the harbor with quick access to the best place to watch the sunset: that promontory with the flag on it. It is a 10 minute walk to the harbor through the narrow streets, with stairs in most places. We did not see that as an issue: on the contrary, there’s lots of pretty corners everywhere, and it is safe. The place has everything, the washer is very convenient, appliances easy to use. We had nice breakfasts and dinners at the private terrace overlooking the town. For our first time in Greece we were very lucky to have this place and this host. Hydra is nice and quiet (no cars) and has many options for dining too. Highly recommend!

The perfect getaway island for a young family. Pavlos and Maria are exceptionally warm, friendly and helpful. We loved the ease of the location with a one year old - 20m from the beach and great restaurants, and also with a cot, high chair, potty and changing mat. Loved it!

Hermione is a super pretty little town. The apartment is very well located and you can do anything on foot. April is a great time to visit. We enjoyed ourselves.

Very beautiful apartment in Kamini. Only a few minutes walk to Hydra and the port, beautiful beaches nearby. Everything you need is in the apartment, you feel right at home. Mieke and Anita are very responsive.

I will say that Agistri in November is very very quiet... there are no open restaurants but a small convenience store to be able to shop and a bakery... On the 1st day we were a little surprised but we discovered Agistri and its small villages nearby with pretty coves and nice walks to do. Desponia was very kind and provided the answers to our questions…. A nice stay but be careful village very quiet at this time... for those who like tranquility it's perfect... Bring back condiments if you stay several days and cook

The apartment is very comfortable, close to the Sea and five minutes by car from the harbour where the ferries arrive. It is beautifully furnished, well-equipped and extremely clean. Viktoria welcomed us warmly and was very helpful. We highly recommend her place!

Our stay at Marthas beautiful apartment was perfect! The apartment was perfectly clean, the communication with Martha was really friendly and she took very good care of us via mobile contact. The apartment is really central but you still feel very private, it has a really cute balcony and the overall vibe is really sweet and cozy. We`d love to come back, thanks Martha! <3

We had a lovely stay before the tourist season kicked in and the weather was great, the local food excellent and the apartment ideally located. The view from the balcony is fantastic and the host was very responsive and helpful. We're coming back!

An absolute gem! Avva and her family were so kind and allowed us go store our bags at their family business before check in so we could explore the Island free of luggage. It was a beautifully done room and bathroom with anything you could need. including a washing machine to wash your clothes! The bed was comfortable, and there was such a nice area outside to relax. We really would recommend to anyone coming to Hydra. Plus the location was perfect and close to all of the restaurants and shops on the island. Truly can't say enough about how perfect this place was, and the hosts were so kind and amazing. A 10/10 would do it again for us!
