Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Hoyvík

Johan var en super god vært, som svarede hurtigt på beskeder. Lejligheden var helt som beskrevet og som på billederne. Ren og pæn og havde alt, hvad man skulle bruge. Vi brugte lidt tid på at finde den rigtige dør, da der var flere lejligheder og der ikke stod husnummer ved døren, men udover det, var alt som det skulle være. God lokation med bus gratis tæt på, som kørte direkte til Torshavn midtby.

Great location to visit Lake above the ocean, Mykines ferry. Walking distance to 2 supermarkets. The room is large and high ceiling make a comfortable stay. Also like big screen TV

Perfect appartment, the equipment was even better than in the description (we were afraid there is no warm watter and heating, as written, but everything was allright). Even though there were more apartments in the neighborhood, it was quiet. Annika fulfilled all our requests – thank you!

Maud und Oddmar waren wunderbare Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft ist sauber, gepflegt und vollständig ausgestattet um sich selbst zu versorgen. Ein Parkplatz ist direkt an der Unterkunft verfügbar. Wir empfanden Nähe zum Flughafen für An- und Abreise als ideal und die Lage der Unterkunft als perfekt um die Färöer zu erkunden. Was durch die hilfreichen Ratschläge unserer Gastgeber ein noch schöneres Erlebnis wurde. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Maud's Guesthouse auf den Färöer.

Spacious, comfortable apartment with a fully equipped kitchen. Near a grocery store and bus stop. Elsebeth and Jon were incredible hosts, offering to help us get to different places and sharing stories and history of the area, making our time spent in Nordragota extra special!

뚜벅이 여행자로서 최고의 위치였다 - 버스정류장, 페리 선착장이 걸어서 5분 이내 거리고 Klaksvik 마을의 카페, 식당, 교회, 광장 모든 곳이 다 숙소 근처다. 마을 중심에서 멀어질수록 오르막 경사인 형태인데 이 숙소는 마을의 중심지에 위치하다보니 오르막길이 없다. 차 소리가 시끄러우려나 걱정했는데 방음도 되고 차 이동량이 적어서 문제 없었다. 라디에이터로 난방하는 것 치고 놀랍도록 따뜻하다. 화장실도 따뜻하고 온수가 펑펑 나온다. 보통 온수를 틀면 따뜻한 물 나올 때까지 다소 시간이 걸리는데 여긴 어쩜 틀자마자 온수가 바로 나오는지 모르겠다. 이 집에서 춥다는 느낌을 받은 적이 없다. 숙소가 정말 깔끔했고 주방에는 온갖 식기들과 조리도구들이 갖춰져 있다. 개인적으로 여기저기 콘센트가 많이 있어서 편했다.

Apartment was clean and comfortable and in a great location at the end of residential neighborhood but no more than 10 minutes walk to the center of town. Having our own parking spot was especially useful. Joan was responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. We would gladly recommend this apartment to anyone interested in staying in Torshavn.

Wir waren für eine Woche zu Gast in diesem schön ausgebauten Bootshaus. Die Lage in der Mitte der Färöer ist unschlagbar, von hier aus kann man mit dem Auto wunderbar das ganze Land erkunden! Es war einfach super gemütlich, ruhig und erholsam hier. Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben und alles war sehr sauber und ordentlich. wir waren auch sehr froh über Waschmaschine und Trockner, das findet man nicht überall. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war immer sehr freundlich, informativ und schnell. Wir können die Unterkunft sowie Maria und Pol als Gastgeber nur empfehlen und würden auf jeden Fall nochmal kommen.

Very nice and lovely stay at Lina’s house. Clean and welcoming atmosphere. Everything worked well from check in to check out and Lina answered questions in good time and was very proactive.

We were incredibly happy with our stay at Jórun's lovely boathouse. It's a calm and beautiful location only a short car ride from everything we wanted to explore. The house has all necessary amenities and more. The shoe dryer turned out to be more helpful than expected and a warm sauna after a day of exploring in the rain was very appreciated.

The place was just as described, we felt right at home. We had everything we needed and more, from kitchen utensils to an outstanding record collection. There’s shops only a short distance away and easy access to other towns as well. The house was very suitable for a family with children with many games and toys around. The view speaks for itself. A true place to just relax and wind down. The most outstanding feature though was Eyðfríð herself. Sadly we didn’t meet her but her communication and helpfulness is unparalleled in our experience. She helped us out in a pinch when we had some travel issues and gave us many recommendations on the way.

Magnificent home right in key bit of Torshavn - lovely traditional house overlooking the main harbour. Minutes to walk to best coffee shop and restaurants- parking nearby works well. There couldn’t be a better place to stay in the Faroe Islands, we can’t recommend it enough. Additionally Marna and Matras tipped us off about the imminent arrival of the king and queen’s first royal visit to Torshavn and they parked their yacht right in front of the house. We felt very privileged to be staying in the best place. Lovely house and hosts

First trip to Faroe Islands - wonderful welcome from our hosts with plenty of local tips. Great place to stay from which to travel all over the islands. Hot tub well used by us.

Excelente estancia, la casa era muy acogedora y ordenada, lo encontramos todo muy limpio. Estaba muy cerca del centro. Íbamos con bebé y Helgi nos ayudó en todo momento prestándonos una cuna y una trona.

Logement parfait pour un séjour dans la région, je recommande ! Merci encore pour les fruits et barre de céréales mis à disposition :) Il faut bien anticiper la durée de la douche.

If this are looking for a place to stay within walking distance to all the best of Torshavn and yet far enough outside the main areas where driving is stressful, look no further! The flat was spacious, clean, and felt like home for our family of 4. We loved the view (and the sheep) from the window and the cozy feel of the flat. I was pleasantly surprised to discover the beds in the primary room have position control so you can set the sleeping position of your choice. The area is very quiet yet close to restaurants and a grocery store. We especially appreciated access to the washer and dryer. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook meals and make morning coffee. My kids appreciated the roasted nuts and snacks, which were a nice touch but the host. The hosts were very responsive and quickly helped me gain entry after my husband accidentally took the key hiking!

We loved staying at Benita’s place. Benita left us snacks and drinks upon arrival and was super responsive to any questions. The ocean view out the window was terrific, and the place was great to come back to after long days of walking, hiking, driving around the islands, etc. And it’s just a quick 5 minute drive into Torshavn, or a 20 minute walk. Everything was just as advertised!

Beautiful flat. Within walking distance of both the airport and the ferry port to Mykines. Very handy for our first two nights, allowing for the ferry to that island to see the amazing birdlife. The view from the terrace is absolutely amazingly beautiful. We had great weather and it seemed such a privilege to drink beer overlooking a fantastic sunset (which is very late in this part of the world). There was no booking immediately after ours and Arnjohn kindly contacted us to allow a later checkout. Great flat and host and heartily recommend

Vera‘s beachhouse was a perfect location for exploring the northern islands. We could find everthing we wanted. We can fully recommend!

We only stayed here one night, but the place was lovely with a view of the water, which was great! It was spacious and the bed was comfortable! It was easy walking distance to shops and restaurants and would definitely stay again if we find ourselves traveling here again!

They call it a place UNDISCOVERED , we just spent a week Discovering the Faroe Islands , and stayed at Osvald’s place in Torshavn , We had a great stay , the apartment was well equipped and in a great location , a nice view of the Harbour , easy walking distance to city center , Osvald was accessible as he lives on site and was easily available for any questions or assistance . He was a great host and we recommend his apartment
