My son is an American living and teaching in Nanao and this was such a perfect distance for our larger group to stay at and still be close to many things to do in the area. At this location you pretty much have to have transportation though, which we did. We had a rental van. There is a really cool lighthouse nearby and just walking around the neighborhood and hike along the coast is so beautiful! This house is on the rustic side but had all the amenities we needed. We especially loved that each room has its own climate control unit. There is no stove, but a portable gas burner that I was familiar with since I use the exact same type when I camp. Very easy to use, and we used it for any cooking we needed to do. Very friendly host and would recommend staying here if you want a rural Japan experience!

It is a lovely inn located right in front of the sea.The bath and bed were very clean and I had a comfortable rest.The space was large, and I stayed with a colleague on a business trip, and we were able to use it comfortably.The host is also kind and cooperative, so if you have any concerns or questions, they will kindly give you advice, so you can rest assured.I can confidently recommend this inn.

It was a very good room.The sea is right in front of you, and the view in the morning is amazing. I took a walk near in the morning, but I met with a miso shop and told me a lot about the area.I thought it was a lovely village.

Takuo's house is an old sea captain's cottage that has been beautifully restored to a very modern standard. It is very comfortable and cosy with a great view of the ocean through the large glass windows. Takuo is a great host with excellent English from having worked overseas for many years. He took time off one afternoon to show us around the local village that had been damaged in the 2024 earthquake and explained the restoration issues that owners faced. Highly recommended.

I recommend this accommodation to others. Everything about the accommodation was good and the host was so kind. It was a lodging that I would like to stay again next time I get a chance. I don't know when it will be, but I'll see you when I have a little more time. ^ ^

Ceramic art is displayed throughout the building, including tile paintings and lighting created by the ceramic artist owner. In addition, we have a wide variety of sake ware and utensils such as a glass writer and Wajima Coil from Noto Island, so please feel free to use them. We also have a monthly business chef plan (on a designated Monday) where you can enjoy Utsuwa x French cuisine. You can also relax and enjoy a movie in the large screen living room theater or a BBQ in the garden. Notonaka Island is also rich in oysters and seafood.A journey to get to know the natural heritage of Noto, the threat of disaster-stricken areas and nature.Please stay as you please. We had a pleasant time during our stay, and there was nothing inconvenient. There was an audio room and a theater room, which I was looking forward to, but unfortunately I couldn't use them because I didn't have much time to relax in the room due to the long hours I was out. I was almost always in the kitchen except when I was sleeping, but I had a relaxing time forgetting about time by looking at the courtyard and looking around the room. I was glad that every room was well-lit, fully equipped, and that I could adjust it to my liking and relax.
