Hessdalen - Fantastic cottage in beautiful surroundings

The cabin is located in a fantastic, idyllic location and view at 850 meters above sea level. It is a short walk from the cabin to the tree line and mountain wilderness. The drive to Hessdalen takes just over two hours from Trondheim and less than an hour from Røros. The cabin was new in 2011 and has a very high standard. The mountain area is internationally known for a light phenomenon and is at Forollhogna National Park. State common land, with the possibility to search for hunting in the vicinity. If it is not winter plowed, snowmobile rides can be checked on request.

A stone's throw from Glomma with its fantastic fishing opportunities and cooling potholes. 5 min walk from shop and train station. A charming, log cabin with modern amenities. When you sit in the living room and look into the flames of the soapstone stove, surround yourself from 1750 timber walls. Newly renovated house at Aursunden

Bright and cozy little house that has just received a major upgrade, located on the south side of the lake Aursunden. It is 23 km/20-25 minutes by car to Røros, 8 km to the village of Glåmos with a grocery store, and 10 km to Olavsgruva. Here there is always snow in winter, and ski tracks lead up to Rørosvidda's extensive trail network when conditions allow. Good hiking opportunities nearby also in the summer. There is a road all year round right up to the house and you can park right outside the door.

Munkslåtta in Haltdalen, 45min from Røros (60m2)

If you need some peace and quiet, travel with kids or are looking for an outdoor adventure, you’ll probably like Munkslåtta. Our cosy apartment is situated in the basement, has it’s own entrance (we live upstairs) and offers a bedroom, kitchen, livingroom, bathroom and sauna. Enjoy crosscountry skiing right from your doorstep, go hiking or pick berries when it’s the season. Take your family to this homey cottage where you can relax and explore nearby activities. Large and sunny! Here you can new silence, light a fire on the fire pit, or light a larger fire by the lean-to - summer and winter. The cottage is well located for year-round trips both towards Hessdalen, Rugldalen, Røros, Tydalen/Riasten. Also in winter you can also put on the skis for a cross country ski trip or "ski in and out" down to Ålen ski center. The cottage is fully equipped for a nice weekend.

The cabin is modernly equipped and contains large, bright and open areas that invite you to pleasant experiences indoors, whether it is around the dinner table, in front of the TV or in the good chair with your knitting or a book. The beautiful and historic town Røros is a short drive away and is worth a visit in both summer and winter.

Gammelstuggu at Trondsvollen

Welcome to Trondsvollen. Here we rent out the old cottage on the farm of accommodation. The farm has history all the way back to the 17th century. Gammlstuggu has recently been completely restored to take care of the old characteristic from when the house was new. The timber box is clad in from the outside but on the second floor the old timber walls in some of the bedrooms are as they were once. Oldstuggu takes you back in time while having access to today's amenities.

Modern mountain cabin in Ålen overlooking the whole village and surrounding mountains. The eel is a small mountain village in Trøndelag which is famous for good outdoor possibilities both summer and winter. Here are great cross country skiing areas, fishing opportunities and ski center Ålen is 33 km to Røros, 12 km to Hessdalen and 120 km to Trondheim. Røros is on the UNESCO Word Heritage list. Hessdalen is famous for "Hessdalsfenomentet", among other things.

Cosy bedsit consisting of combined bedroom/sitting area, bathroom and kitchen - simple, clean and welcoming - perfect for one, and ok for two, if you don’t mind snuggling up. (There’s an extra mattress, if you find that you do!) A great base for hiking, fishing, cross country skiing or simply relaxing. The countryside is gentle and green in the summer, cold and snowy in winter. Luckily you can park right outside the door - and we have an outdoor power socket.
