Here you live in your own, fully-equipped, spacious apartment with a villa feel and the forest as a neighbor. 10 minutes to Hitachi by car 11 km to Ludvika station 9 km to Grängesberg Alpine skiing: 47 km to Romme Alpin and 50 km to Säfsen Resort Private entrance from the gable with a private, furnished patio for your own use. Beautiful nature to wander in. In the middle of the village, there is a coffee shop, 1 km from the property. The host lives upstairs, separate entrance from the other gable, and is happy to answer questions.

The house has a large terrace with barbecue, dining area and dartboard. Don't miss a lovely bath in the wood-fired hot tub with room for 5-6 people. Ställbergs Rökeri, where you can buy locally produced rapeseed oil, honey and smoked fish. About 20 minutes away there is a smaller ski resort, Fjällberget. 1 hour to Romme! 10 minutes by car to Djäken's swimming area with sandy beach.

There is a small cabin during summer time with 2 beds that can be rented for a fee of SEK 350/day. Cleaning for a fee. Bed linen/towels for a fee. The cottage has a large porch with stunning lake view. Walking distance to swimming area with sandy beach. Discover museum, cafés, go-karts, Spa, fishing trips, ski downhill/ length.

Fully furnished short term accommodation at Högberget. Close to Hitachi, downtown and recreation area. Quiet and secluded with its own entrance to the room located in a renovated basement. Kitchenette with microwave, kitchen utensils, small fridge+freezer compartment, hot plates, kitchen fan, etc. Sleeps 3. Single bed + Ikea sofa bed (1+2pers) Bedlinen and towels are available for 150sek per set/person. Iron and ironing board available. Parking spot is included.

Cozy cottage on lake plot

Here you live in a cozy log house from 1909 with modern amenities. Walking distance to Ludvika's range of shops and restaurants. In winter, there are good opportunities for skiing, both in the tracks and downhill. Romme alpine is 30 min away. Summer time there is possibility for fishing in Övre Hillen. Fish from the jetty or rent our plastic boat with electric motor (SEK 150/half day 8-12, 12-16). Fishing license 50kr/ day.

Majsan Stuga

Maisans Stuga is a small but nice cottage. It is idyllically located right on the water. You can swim in the lake, fish, hike in the surrounding nature, ride a bike, read on the veranda directly on the lake or simply enjoy the view and relax. In Kloten, about 10 km away, there is the possibility to rent canoes or bicycles. In Kopparberg, about 12 km away, there are good shopping, cafes, restaurants, museums,...

Rikkenstorp - swedish countryside!

Come and stay at our small organic farm. You have your own nice house by the lake with access to a sauna. Take a walk in the forest or on the paths around the farm and say hi to the animals. This is an active small scale farm with a genuine feeling! Experience real countryside with nature, silence and a sky full of stars :-)
