House vacation rentals in Hobart City Council

Amazing, amazing, amazing!! This place has absolutely every thing. Huge amount of space indoors and out. All rooms comfortable and warm. Pool area was huge hit with our group. Host was awesome as they greeted us on arrival, keep in touch throughout our stay, recommended activities to see/do, and provided a place where fantastic memories were made. We really could have not left the property just stayed there, but we did tour Hobart and surrounds. Thank you once again. We will be back!!

We had a great stay at Vicki’s property. We loved the hot spa after a day exploring the area and the fireplace to sit in front of and relax. A very comfortable home with local wallabies and some chickens on site. The early wake up by the rooster took a bit of getting used to but otherwise very quiet and peaceful.

Lovely large clean and tidy home a short drive from Hobart. We particularly loved the views!

This is an outstanding property with a wonderful and responsive host. We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The house is very private and well appointed, maintained and stocked with quality produce and supplies - we were also welcomed by a beautiful hamper, and warm service. The property itself has stunning views from almost every window. We enjoyed using the gym (located in an adjacent private building which can also be used as a study), pool and spa. We had a few things on our list to visit for the Huon Valley but were very content to stay at the house and enjoy all the amenities. We would most definitely return here when visiting Tasmania.

Great location for family or friends to get together. Literally walk out the door onto a beautiful beach. Plenty of outdoor amenities available incl swimming pool, tennis, basketball hoop, billiards, kayaks etc. Quiet and peaceful area, but close to airport and to Hobart so very convenient. Great communication from Julie in advance who also met us on arrival and showed us in. Thank you for a great stay.

We had an excellent few days with our family at Marina’s house. The house is simple with large rooms and lots of space indoor and out. The view is lovely and ever changing and the kids loved the ducks and native hens. An ideal place for a family gathering.

Chantelle was absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful. I had a lot of questions, both for myself and on behalf of the group. Chantelle was always quick to respond and happy to assist. Her communication was excellent, and she was flexible with our check-in times, which really helped accommodate our busy schedule. The house itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. It was so well-equipped, down to all the essentials, which made staying in really enjoyable and convenient. I’d definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Tassie.☺️

We had a wonderful long weekend stay in Hobart! The house was warm and cosy, perfect for the cooler weather. The beds were super comfy with electric blankets, which made for a great night’s sleep. Everything was spotlessly clean and the kitchen had all the accessories we needed to cook and enjoy our meals. The location was also fantastic – close to everything we wanted to see and do. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Hobart.

Place was amazing, it felt home away from home. You can tell Amber has put in lot of thought and effort into the property so much that she has even thought about having a high chair for kids. Its 15mins away from the city and few mins from the shopping centre and restaurants. My friends and I enjoyed the 2days we stayed at the property. I would highly recommend this place to anybody travelling to Hobart.

What a beautifully presented home inside and outside. Matt & Steph have done an exceptional job at making this an immaculately clean, comfortable and classy place to stay. This was our first time booking this home and Matt and Steph were wonderful to communicate with and they happily accommodated our needs. Best spot to stay in Hobart! Great spacious home, comfortable accommodation. On the bus routes. Private and relaxing. Enjoyed our stay.

Stunning bay views! Located a short drive from the CBD but secluded private feeling. Clean and comfortable. Ramp and stairs to navigate and no off street parking however never had an issue finding available street parking right outside. It is a sloping block hence the access however once inside you never want to leave. Large external deck to enjoy your morning coffee and watch the sun rise over the hills. Property well appointed, clean and heaps more spacious than similar priced smaller accommodation in the CBD. Uber from CBD usually less than $15 and less than 11minutes. Don’t discount this property based on location, it is well worth it and you will have an amazing stay!

This cottage is exactly as described! Has everything one would need for a cozy spot for 1 or 2! If you don't want to walk Uber is available.

Hi Rachel, Tasman House is absolutely superb! It was spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed, and the beds—with that crisp, fresh linen—were such a treat. The property is incredibly spacious, and all the thoughtful little extras made our stay even more enjoyable. We really appreciated the selection of coffee, teas, and hot chocolates, along with the milk in the fridge and the well-stocked pantry—such a generous touch. Our group of 8 friends had an amazing stay at this property! It’s beautiful, spotlessly clean, and incredibly spacious—there was plenty of room for everyone to relax comfortably. The house is well-equipped with everything we needed for a short or long stay. One of the highlights was the stunning view over the bay—perfect for enjoying our mornings and evenings together. The three toilets and two bathrooms were a huge plus for a group of our size, making it easy for everyone to get ready without any hassle. Each room also had its own heating and cooling unit, which kept the whole place comfortable no matter the time of day. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend this property to anyone traveling with a group!

We had a perfect Easter weekend staying at Helen’s beautiful cottage! The home itself is beautifully designed, in a quiet street leafy street of battery point, with beautiful surrounding scenery. We immediately felt at home with the generous provisions Helen left us including fresh bread, preserves, fruit, milk and plenty of teas to name a few! The cottage has a beautiful view and we enjoyed time watching the boats and sitting on the front veranda to enjoy the sun with a book. The cottage is very well equipped and super clean - we all slept so well during our stay and had plenty of space for 4 people. Great cafes and restaurants are a short walk away. Helen was a very kind and responsive host and we were very thankful we could arrange a later check out. We would highly recommend Helen’s cottage for a great weekend away exploring Hobart. We had an incredible stay at Abigail's! The house is unbeatable, offering amazing views that truly left us in awe. A short, scenic hike into town added a delightful touch to the experience. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay! Walking distance to the city and the waterfront. Everything we needed for family of four.

This place is amazing: beautiful views from the balcony, comfortable beds, BBQ (which made our dinners) and easy and fast communication with Kev and Linda. We spent four nights in Kev’s apartments and we did not want to leave, as we felt there like at home. Kev and Linda provided everything we needed for our stay (fresh bread and milk was a good addition). It was nice to see kangaroos from the balcony during the day. One point to mention is that you need a car or you need to like walking uphill to get to this wonderful place as it is located up the hill (that is why the view is fantastic).

My husband and I and our two adult children have just finished a 3 night stay at Marty’s beautiful property. Very easy to find for our Uber driver and first impressions from us all was - Wow! Marty was so thoughtful and responsive - he offered an early check in should we have needed it and all the “house info” was all we needed for a warm and comfortable stay. The beds and linens were so comfortable. We were in Hobart to meet with more of our family and the 9 of us enjoyed a wonderful reunion around Marty’s dining table. We were able to prep food using all the kitchen facilities - plenty of crockery and cutlery - utensils and staples - used oven and dishwasher! Just a few steps away is Pigeon Hole Cafe and Westside Laundry Cafe - both sensational! On one outing we brought home Barilla Bay Oysters (out near the airport) and some Tassie Sparkling - yum! Full sets of wine glasses provided. Loved this Air BnB and very happy to recommend it. Thank you Marty and Alex.
