Cabin vacation rentals in Hobart

We had a lovely stay at Orchard’s nest for my partner’s 40th. It was really relaxing, beautifully furnished, the bed and linen were so comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Absolutely recommend for a place to relax and reset.

Such a lovely spot to have had the pleasure of staying at! All of the small details make it feel even more like home, and especially the sauna and hot tub being highlights. The little garden and plants throughout were also delightful, along with the neighbours chickens who made a special appearance 😃

Such a peaceful and relaxing place to end our Tassie trip. Gorgeous little cottage in a beautiful area. Thanks so much to Karen for being so friendly and making us feel at home. The kids really enjoyed picking your yummy fresh fruit with you and playing frisbee and finska on the lawn. Definitely recommend!

WILD has the most amazing views over the water, it was a great start to our honeymoon 🥰 The bath was lush and location was close enough to everything via car. The goodies and messages added a special touch, we thank you Anna and Tim!

Macey went above and beyond to make us very welcome and comfortable . We were able to check out later which gave us a little more time to pack up. We loved the outdoor fireplace the firewood was all ready and well stocked . Very cosy and homey , very comfortable bed and crisp linen. The record player was a hit and enjoyed the board games . Make sure you are well stocked up and prepare if cooking to save time and money with shopping etc however there is enough great cafes and unique restaurants around . Great facilities for dogs and dog friendly beach close by . If there was a laundry it would totally be a 10/10 however that did not disappoint us as it wasn’t a priority . A wonderful relaxing place and totally recommend if you like to be away from the hustle and bustle . Beautiful flora and fauna surrounding in particular the birds and flowers . A home with character !

Randall’s Bay is a beautiful sleepy spot to spend some time, and staying at Aurora Cliff’s feels just like staying at a cosy family shack with stunning views and comfy beds.

I had the most idyllic time in this perfect little hide-away, so much so that I really didn't want to leave! Jane and her family were just next door if I needed anything but left me in complete peace to enjoy the surroundings. It's such a beautiful part of the world, and I can't wait to come back.

Fabulous location, our boys loved playing outside, so much space and nature

So, so stunning! Incredible place to come back to after a big day in Hobart. Fireplace was awesome and (the cheese board we organised was also fantastic)! Spectacular views and a super comfortable bed. Our only issue was some loss of traction up the hill in our 2WD (Kia Cerato). Downhill was fine. Thank you so much!

Hidden gem if you’re looking to relax and kick back. Unbelievably thoughtful little touches from a card, to a gift hamper featuring wonderful handmade &local produce made for an amazing welcome. The photos probably don’t do the place justice either, it’s bigger than it looks and even nicer in person. Couldn’t recommend more for a little escape. Loved it.

Such a fantastic stay! The house was so well appointed and it was also great to have a little supermarket down the road too. All the windows overlook beautiful Australian bush and the bath is a must-do. The kitchen had everything we needed (we cooked at home over the three nights) and a fantastic coffee machine too. We loved Craig's place! So quiet with gorgeous views. Our beautiful studio was perfect..brekkie was provided for both days of our stay. Would have loved to use the fire pit but indulged ourselves with the indoor gas fire instead. And yes Craig, the bathroom floor heating was a winner! We also did the talk tour through the Raptor Rescue Centre which was fascinating. All up a great experience.

We had a very relaxing three day stay at Fairy Wren’s Nest. The welcome tea and generous amount of breakfast were provided at arrival which was very nice. Great location to visit the southern part of Huon region. Highly recommended for those who want to experience the country style stay in a quiet surrounding.

An absolute gem of a property, we instantly fell in love with the location and the living space. The deck and BBQ were enjoyed as well as the little track down to a private beach on the river. Julie was really easy to contact with and gave a great local itinerary which we followed to a t. We loved our 3 night stay, a perfect base for exploring the Huon Valley and beyond.
