In 1888, during the French rule, it specialized in producing decks of cards (a game of chance). In 1945, this profession was expelled and replaced by large companies, Trang Tien Plaza. In 1955, the street's official name was Hang Bai. Hang Bai Street today is the street closest to Hoan Kiem Lake, near shopping centers, convenient transportation system and airy atmosphere.

It's on the 2nd floor, facing to a shared greeny patio which is priceless in this cramped city center. BROWN is a perfect base to explore all parts of the city, just 1 min walk to Hoan Kiem Lake, 1 min walk to Night Market and 1 min walk to the famous Ta Hien street. There is noise and music on Friday to Sunday from 7p.m until 10p.m due to the Hoan Kiem Walking street nearby.
