The apartment is located in a historic French house, built in the early 1930s. It has been renovated and transformed with my love. All the decorations are handmade, making it truly the best place for relaxation and rest during your holiday. The apartment was lovely and in a great location for exploring Hanoi, especially the Old Quarter. The bed was super comfortable, which was a welcome relief after a day of sightseeing. The only minor thing is that the street noise could be a bit loud at night, so light sleepers might want to pack earplugs. We’re not light sleepers and like to stay out late, so the street noise didn’t bother us at all. In fact, being in the Old Quarter gave us a true local experience that we’d never get staying in a hotel. Overall, a fantastic stay!

The Runa Home was our home base in Hanoi for about a week as we did the Ha Giang Loop, and explored other areas of North Vietnam. This cozy spot was extremely well maintained and Lee was super responsive and attentive to our needs and ready with recommendations of things to do and additional towels / cleaning of the space. Overall great stay!

Absolutely loved our 5-night stay here! The location is perfect — just a few mins walk to the Old Quarter, with a Korean restaurant and a bakery right below. Hoa was the sweetest helper ever! She welcomed us so warmly, helped with our bags, and did our laundry multiple times — always clean, folded, with fresh towels and water daily. She truly went above and beyond, and we really appreciated how well she took care of us throughout our stay. The place itself was super cosy, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. We were obsessed with the hammock swing — we literally fought over who gets to sit in it 😂 One of our fave Airbnbs in Vietnam — would 100% stay again!
