The house was very well equipped for a family gathering. The kitchen was great for preparing family meals. We were 8 for part of our stay and the large dining room and lounge were ideal for our group. You do need a car or bike to get into Abcoude. Frustratingly parking in Abcoude is not good with 2 hour time limit so bit of a hassle to go to Amsterdam by train as required parking quite a distance from the station and walking but we figured a way that worked for us. The little restaurant next door is busy particularly at weekends but is handy for a bite to eat or a drink. The house has a lovely countryside setting which suited us but does come with drawbacks for example the WiFi isn’t great and the abundant bird life can be ‘messy’ but that’s nature😊 Would definitely stay again.

First of all the host is incredibly welcoming and proactive. He is very communicative and responsive to all your needs. Also he is very flexible with the check in and check out times. In addition, it is an amazing home that is near all the facilities you need to make your vacation a perfect one. Wonderful restaurants are in walking distance as is the supermarket and public transportation is easy accessible. The house was spotless and even better than pictured in listing. The host left us a wonderful welcome present to make us feel at home. In addition the house was stocked with all the necessities. In summary the house is filled with top-notch amenities, has an amazing location and an incredible host to give you and your family an unforgettable vacation. We definitely will be back in the near future.

Wir haben uns sofort zu Hause gefühlt in dieser tollen Unterkunft! Mia hat es uns mit ihrer Gastfreundlichkeit leicht gemacht, uns sofort richtig wohl zu fühlen. Die Unterkunft ist ein Juwel, der Garten ein Traum! Für uns als Familie mit kleinem Kind (4 Jahre) ein perfekter Ort, um zu entspannen, Ausflüge zu starten und einfach nur durchzuatmen! Man spürt die Liebe zum Detail in jeder Ecke!

Heel gastvrij, laagdrempelig benaderbaar. Prachtige locatie met veel groen, diertjes en rust. Fijne, schone en goed uitgeruste B&B met heerlijk ontbijt. Genoten van het houtkacheltje. Aanrader, ook met jonge kinderen!

Wat een heerlijke plek! Omgeven door groen en bloemen, gewekt door de vogels. Veel ruimte met een mooie inrichting. Bel mogelijkheid om in de omgeving in de natuur de wandelen en fietsen. Goede tips van bv Jeannette en Frank.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt. Remco war immer gut zu erreichen und hat immer super schnell auf Anfragen Reagiert und geholfen. Die Umgebung ist total schön. Viele Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar und ein Supermarkt ist direkt nebenan. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen

Wir (5 Freunde+1 Hundi) haben sehr schöne Tage gehabt in der Unterkunft. Tolle ruhige ländliche Lage- mitten in der Natur. Trotzdem ist der Weg nach Amsterdam schnell und unkompliziert(kleiner Tipp: es gibt eine Fähre). Victor und seine Frau sind sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Also wer etwas Ruhe braucht aber trotzdem schnell in der Stadt oder andere Unternehmungen machen möchte ist hier genau richtig. Sehr empfehlenswert sind auch Edam und Volendam. Außerdem lohnt sich auch ein Tagesausflug an die Nordsee ;-) Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die Wohnung war super-sauber, perfekt gepflegt und eingerichtet. Alles war wie beschrieben. Auf unsere Wünsche wurde sofort und sehr freundlich eingegangen. Der Empfang war top, die Erreichbarkeit super. Unserem kleinen Sohn wurden von Edith Laufräder, Dreiräder, Traktoren etc. zur Verfügung gestellt. Uns wurde alles toll erklärt, was wir über die Gegend oder den Hof wissen wollten. Es gab gute Tipps für Ausflüge und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Edith und Freek sind sehr sympathisch und nicht aufdringlich. Man muss wissen, was aber auch im Inserat klar beschrieben wird, dass es ein Bauernhof ist, der sehr ländlich liegt. Trotzdem ist man mit dem Rad z.B. in max. 30 Minuten in Urk, mit nettem Dorfkern, Hafen und kleinem Strand. Wer Erholung auf dem Land, mit der Möglichkeit für viele unterschiedliche Ausflüge (per Auto in 10-45 Minuten findet man fast alles, was man sich wünscht) sucht, sollte es bei Edith und Freek probieren. Der Aufenthalt bei Marjolein und Michiel war außerordentlich schön und gemütlich. Ruhig gelegen, wunderschönes Ambiente mit privater Teichterrasse und Garten. Ideal für Radtouren zum Weltkulturerbe zu den Mühlen in Kinderdijk, Rotterdam, sowie nach Dordrecht gelegen. Auch der Wasserbus ist sehr zu empfehlen! Da mein Mann 60 wurde, hatte Michiel uns aufmerksamerweise eine schöne Flasche Prosecco vorab in den Kühlschrank gestellt. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und umfangreich. Die Betten sehr bequem. Das Zimmer ließ sich insgesamt zum Schlafen gut abdunkeln. Das Auto konnte sehr sicher auf dem Hof abgestellt. Vielen herzlichen Dank nochmals für den wunderbaren Aufenthalt!! Joke & Marcs place was ideal for us as it was well designed for a couple like us. The setting was peaceful and we could sit out in the evening with a drink overlooking the river. Everything we needed was provided and J&M were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you wish to explore South Holland.

Zeer leuk verblijf met erg vriendelijke hosts! Ook de locatie is top, dicht bij het centrum van Barneveld maar toch volledig in de rust van het buitengebied. Omgeving is verder ook prachtig, mooi gebied om te fietsen op de Veluwe.

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Alkmaar! It is close enough to enjoy all that the city has to offer, yet it also provides a beautiful, peaceful escape from the business and crowds. Han and Kelly were great hosts, providing helpful recommendations and even rides from the train station and into Alkmaar. We also enjoyed hanging out with the dog, cat and chickens! We would definitely stay here again.

We hebben een geweldige tijd in de hut gehad. De plek en de hut zijn fantastisch en Rens en Elisa w af en super vriendelijk. Naast de prachtige omgeving en het mooie verblijf waren we erg blij met de houtkachel en de hottub die we tegen betaling konden gebruiken. Een top tijd gehad en helemaal opgeladen. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und persönlich. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Eine tolle Terrasse mit Blick in einen traumhaften Garten runden die Wohlfühlatmosphäre ab. Die Terrasse ist komplett eingezäunt, was einen Aufenthalt mit Hund total entspannt macht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft war super sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und genau wie beschrieben. Die Lage war perfekt – ruhig, aber dennoch zentral. Mandy-Remko war sehr freundlich, gut erreichbar und hat uns mit tollen Tipps versorgt. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Absolute Empfehlung!

A super beautiful, quiet and cozy house. We had a great time! The photos capture the vibe accurately. Plus you have horses in view at any time you want. An easy 15 mins walk to the beach & approx. 20/25 mins to town and the nearest restaurants/bars. Tjeerd & Laurie are super responsive and always offer kind advice when needed. We’d be happy to come back another time!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described – clean, cozy, and thoughtfully furnished. The peaceful location was perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. We especially loved the forest walks with our dog. Communication was super friendly and smooth from the beginning. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the helpful checklist made everything simple. Loved staying at Danielle’s cabin. She’s a great host and goes above and beyond to make your stay worth it. Beautiful walks all around and a beautiful little town in its self. Would highly recommend for a solo or couple get away and I would definitely stay here again! 5* All around!
