Welcome to Mexico City & the Ancient City of Gods! I´m Gio and I am a graduate intern of INAH (National Institute of Anthropology and History) and licensed tour guide. On our tour, you will learn about the ancient city of Teotihuacan, the archeological discoveries and historical research into the city’s ancient inhabitants, their religion and traditions. We will explore the monuments, residential areas, fascinating mural paintings, learn the story behind the Moon pyramid, admire the grand size of the Sun pyramid. Comenzaremos con nuestra caminata internandonos en el bosque templado lleno de pinos, encinos y otras especies; a lo largo de nuestro recorrido encontrarás diferentes tipos de flores silvestres, algunas especies de suculentas, flora endémica de la región como las bisnagas, cardones, y muchas más. Además, podremos ver algunas especies de fauna como reptiles pequeños, urracas, aves de la región y si corremos con suerte algún zorro, halcón zorrillo o zopilote. Cerca de las temporadas de lluvia hallaremos yacimientos de agua que brotan de entre las rocas, de la cual podrás beber para rehidrarte sin ningún problema. Avanzaremos por el bosque hasta llegar a un hermoso valle rodeado de formaciones rocosas, mismas que si es tu deseo puedes escalar y tomar maravillosas fotografías desde la cima. The ultimate platform experience is here! Together with my family, we will show you the real history of Teotihuacan. I will tell you about the erroneous terms we have, I will tell you that the pyramids were not for the sun or moon, I will tell you why it is called "Calle of the Dead" on the main street and why it is called "Teotihuacan" to the site, since the real name is not known. Itinerary: 1.-No we will find at Gate 2 to start the Tour (8 am). (I have transportation service at extra cost for your convenience) 2. We will start our experience by visiting the interior of the Archaeological site, the guide will talk to you about the beginning, rise and fall of this mythical city, as well as the mural painting that we can still admire, the walk will be an average of 2 hours When we leave we will take a tour of the Teotihuacán Valley, where we can see the pyramids from different perspectives. Desde ahí empezaremos a subir cuesta arriba con el objetivo de escalar la impresionante peña del zumate, una enorme peña partida por la mitad, situada a poco más de 3000 metros de altura sobre el nivel del mar, regalándonos espectaculares vistas de gran parte del territorio hidalguense. Tomarás fotos extraordinarias que te encantarán. Ya en la cima tomaremos un tiempo para relajarnos, tomar un refrigerio y contemplar un hermoso paisaje inigualable.
