Our second time in the best location ever. The new renovations are just what the gem needed to make it more open. Especially the new covered deck in front overlooking the ocean with new built in braai. The best location because away from the main beach and so nice just to walk out the door with your surfboard under your arm and 1 minute later you are in the ocean. We will definitely be back very soon. Thanks a lot for and amazing week.

Hannetjie is the perfect host, very sympathetic and friendly, always available and very decent and discrete. The flat is very nice and cosy and offers all amenities one needs for a relaxed stay (we were also cooking a lot). The view from the flat and the balcony is overwhelmingly beautiful as is the nature below the house towards the river and the Indian Ocean. We enjoyed our walk on the beach and variour sandbanks. We will definitely come back one day!

Das Haus ist direkt am Meer. Wir genossen den Ausblick sehr und die ruhige Lage. Das Haus ist super goldig eingerichtet, direkt zum wohlfühlen. Die Kommunikation mit der Besitzerlin war super! Sehr zu empfehlen zum Entspannen am Strand, wenn man Glück hat Delphine morgens beobachten...alles wunderbar!

One of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever been to! The photos really don’t do justice to the view and the incredible natural setting, so we were very pleasantly surprised. You can spend the whole day watching dolphins play in the water, right from the bedroom or the beautiful terrace. The beach is also amazing with almost no people. It feels like you are in the middle of the nature. The house itself is also super spacious and very well equipped. We saw lots of animals on the huge property, including zebras. Our stay truly couldn’t have been any better!

We had a wonderful 2-days-stay in Julia's house. The place was awesome. In front of the sand dunes and the beach. The house was just perfect. An holidays house everybody can dream of. Very cosy, well furnished and decorated. We wish we could have stayed longer as we had a very pleasant and peaceful time here. It is also a good spot for kitesurfing. I recommand this house ++++++ 👍😊

We loved everything about Candlewood Beach House and had the most wonderful time together as a family. From cosy dinners by the fire to watching the dolphins ride the waves from the terrace - every moment felt special. The setting is breathtaking, and the peacefulness of the estate made our stay even more memorable. Driving in, we were often greeted by wildlife roaming freely, which added to the magic of this place. It's a rare gem where nature and comfort blend perfectly. Thank you, Caroline, for sharing your beach house with us, and for being so responsive to any correspondence or questions we had. We would absolutely love to return in the nearby future!

This was our second stay at this wonderful place, and once again, we were not disappointed! After such a great first visit, we couldn’t wait to return, and everything was just as perfect as we remembered. The home is comfortable, well-equipped, and in a fantastic location. Lovely clean and very neat apartment, It had everything we needed for a stop on our road trip. Check in was very easy and Elsabe gave us clear Instructions.

Lovely, quiet spot. Small, so best suited for one or two people, but a lovely place in a safe and peaceful town. It's just a pity I couldn't spend more time in Stilbaai on this trip - I will definitely be back. Recommended!

Unbelievable place on the water with easy access to the Hotel restuarant and bar and very convenient when you have a boat and love to use the river. The host Andrea was also super helpful. Will def be back

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the incredible holiday home in Gouritzmond, and it was nothing short of perfect. The breathtaking views, with the sound and sight of waves crashing right in front of the house, created the most relaxing atmosphere. The house is equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly need—and more—which made our stay exceptionally comfortable. Charlene was an outstanding host, going above and beyond to make our stay even more special. Her warm hospitality truly made a difference. We will most certainly be back to enjoy this little slice of paradise again!
