Beachfront vacation rentals in Herradura Bay

the house is amazing and very comfortable, having a private pool is a super plus! we loved spending the weekend here as a family the bathrooms had a detail that they did not lock but nothing that the communication between the trip assistants does not solve!

Michel made for a great host. Esterillos Centro is extremely private and convenient to Esterillos Oeste, Hermosa, and Jaco. Plenty of groceries to choose from! We had a wonderful stay!

The Bungalows is perfect! I’ve been coming here (to playa Hermosa) for years and I always choose Los bungalows because of its beauty, location, and feeling of home away from home.

Paradise found is an apt name. What a beautiful home in a beautiful place. I stayed for 4 nights with my wife and 3 teenage boys. The home was clean and well stocked with all the items we needed to make meals in the kitchen. Jose, the caretaker, met us at check in and showed us the lay of the land. We had access to the garage that had surf boards and body boards. The pool was clean and warm, and we had fun jumping in and splashing around. The beach across the street is a close to private as you can get. It goes on for miles each direction. The only people we saw were the occasional local fishing or some folks taking a stroll on horseback. Waves were huge and fun to play in. Watch out for rip tides! The directions to the home were great. The house is located between Jaco and Manuel Antonio. Both fun spots to explore. Thank you Mary and Jose for making our family trip unforgettable. We cant wait to return.

Johanny was the perfect host 😎 Always answered any of my questions within minutes and offered suggestions. Julie, his wife, was onsite to greet us when we arrived and was very helpful. We actually took up her offer to get a ride back to the airport after our stay. Super friendly couple. Great place to stay and very clean, gated community, friendly staff, fantastic beach, nice restaurants in the area and a local snack bar on the beach with great food! Thank you again to Johanny and Julie to making our stay enjoyable 💜

This place was so beautiful, very clean and the communication was sufficient. The power went out for like a minute and someone came by to make sure that everything was ok. The response time was amazing. The power turned back on shortly after. I would definitely stay here again.

David’s place was great! You cannot beat the location and view. We were so thankful we chose this place, it was close to everything and he is a great host. We’d love to come back!

The rooftop is stunning and the pool connects you to the beach life while being elevated from the beach just enough.

If we could give more than 5-stars we would. Before we even arrived, Kelly was so helpful, suggesting tours and giving us local travel tips. The house is gorgeous, the property is pristine, and the hosts were so accommodating. Book it now!

This was a great find! The pool is beautiful and surrounded by greenery and birds. The place had a very modern, clean feel. It was a great location- quick trip to Jaco and Manuel Antonio National Park was only about an hour and a half away. Jeffery was a great, responsive host that communicated promptly. Highly recommend.

Beautiful home right on the beach with amazing host who was always right there to assist when needed. The home was immaculate and beds very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. The living room was a great relaxing spot and my favourite was the patio table overlooking the pool. We loved this home and you can tell the owner takes pride in hosting. We will be back at the first opportunity . Highly recommended. Thank you for an amazing few days!

This is a wonderful place to stay right on the beach , enjoy the surf , beach walks and amazing sunsets . Antonio was very welcoming and was extremely hospitable and helpful especially as I was travelling solo made me feel right at home and comfortable .

The house is great, comfortable beds, great bathrooms etc. The pool is awesome for relaxing, the gated community with patrols really makes you feel safe. The house is right on the beach... maybe 15 feet to the water. When you read about playa tivives, they often mention crocodiles etc.. That is NOT by the house. That is far up the beach where the river comes to the Ocean. We walked to the river in hopes of seeing some crocs but did not see them. The house is just straight, awesome beach. Very private and relaxing. Finally, we paid extra to have the lady Yendry come in the mornings.. she made awesome breakfasts for us (different and delicious each day) and even a few dinners. Cleaned the house, did laundry, including our clothes. It was nice to wake up to a home cooked breakfast, fresh Costa Rican fruit, smoothies for the kids and a fresh cup of coffee for Adults. She did a few dinners too which were great!

Donna’s place is great! We would come back in a heartbeat and highly recommend. We are a family of three that stayed for 2 weeks. She was incredibly helpful and communicative from the time of booking until we left. The unit is exactly as described with all the listed amenities. It’s very comfortable, beautifully decorated, spacious and we felt right at home. The balcony was amazing, so relaxing with an amazing view. The pool and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. There is someone on site available 24 hours a day. Great location right on the beach with sandy bottom and fun waves. It’s the quieter end of the beach which we loved, with lovely nature walks and wildlife nearby. Town is walkable or very easy to uber around. Great restaurants and lots to do and see in Jaco and surrounding areas. We are looking forward to visiting again :)

We absolutely loved this airbnb!! The view was incredible and the access to the beach made it so simple to enjoy our time. It’s the perfect location close by to Jaco, Manuel Antonio, and rainmaker, while being in a less touristy/ less crowded area. The entire complex felt incredibly safe, including the beach. There’s many stores nearby for groceries as well! Carrie was also incredibly helpful before and during our stay! Any questions we had, she responded within the hour and truly made this trip even better! Highly recommend!

Hi Jessica. Thank you so much for the seamless and wonderful stay at your beautiful home. We enjoyed all the facilities that you provided, including that beautiful pool and the various places where we could enjoy meals. The AC units in the bedrooms worked perfectly and very efficiently, which is a real necessity at the beach. We enjoyed the huge top deck and enjoyed the ocean view it provided. The beach was perfect, and it like it was our own private beach. Very private. Stringing hammocks between the palm trees was a real treat for real relaxation with the music of the ocean. The Starlink Wi-Fi was exceptional and never failed and had coverage outside as well. Yeni and Mendoza were such a courteous and a special couple they couldn’t do enough for us. They were there but gave us privacy, yet always willing to help with everything. Mendoza an excellent griller from fish to hamburgers. They were key to us enjoying your beautiful home so much! We loved our stay here! we stayed for a good two weeks. The place was very clean and modern, and the location was perfect. Walkable distance from the beach, and we greatly appreciated having the essentials (chairs, cooler, towels, even an ice cube tray in the freezer!). The kitchen was well equipped and we loved being able to have breakfast at home, reheat leftovers, and avoid going to restaurants every day (the ones in the town center are very nice, but a bit expensive). The common terrace and pool were great too, we spent a lot of time relaxing there, we even spotted macaws in the nearby trees. On the second week I enjoyed working remotely from there for a few days - yes the wifi was good enough to take video calls in low-res! The beach is really nice! Pretty clean and you can park right by the palm trees and set up for the day. The waves a bit big but still fun to play around. The sunsets on the pacific are simply magical. I highly recommend this place!
