These new (2023) thatched villas of Wetterhaghe have a beautiful unobstructed view over the Poelen, the Weisleat, in the middle of the Frisian lakes area. The sustainable villas have their own jetty with possibly a beautiful 8-person electrosloep! The sloop is available between April 1 and November 1. Just sail to the village for a drink or in the morning to the bakery for fresh sandwiches. But also a day trip over the Frisian lakes is a quiet sensation!

The 3 apartments at De Opper in Heeg are bright and fully furnished. In the cozy living room, there is also the open kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, induction cooktop and oven. Upstairs are 2 spacious double bedrooms and the bathroom with shower and toilet. There is floor heating. On the terrace, you can sunbathe and enjoy. If you do not come by boat, but want to get on the water, you can rent a sloop or sailboat. Ask the host about the possibilities.

Sleeping with the sheep & a whole herd of horses.

Waking up overlooking the dining room of a herd of horses living in freedom, 2 pigs making their bed every night in front of the window and sometimes a sheep walks by. Closer to the pure things in life. Therefore, there is no WiFi and no TV. There is a large table to play games together and a lovely sofa to drink a glass of wine together. This national monument from 1750 with a spacious garden and private berth, is on the water in Woudsend. A cozy water sports village between the Heegermeer and the Slotermeer. A house that is equipped with all comforts. In the garden, it is wonderful to sit under the umbrella with a view of the boats sailing by. Enjoy the evening with a drink by the magma garden fireplace.
