Vacation rentals with lake access in Hardyston

Our family of 6 stayed at Abby’s place for Easter weekend and we couldn’t have had a more relaxing weekend! Beautiful surroundings, bright sunny home, spacious accommodations, lots of outdoor space with hot tub, Adirondack chairs and outdoor fire pit. Abby was gracious enough to allow us to check in early as well! We hope to make this a tradition. Thank you Abby for a wonderful weekend, we hope to come back!

Very clean and nice place. Really enjoyed hosting my family here, relatively 20 minutes from major shopping areas. Would recommend.

We had an amazing weekend staying at this house in the Poconos! The property was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything our group needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and utensils, making it easy to prepare meals for everyone. The living spaces were cozy, and we loved gathering around the fireplace in the evenings. The outdoor amenities were a highlight—whether it was relaxing on the deck, enjoying the hot tub, or taking in the beautiful scenery. The location was also perfect, offering a peaceful retreat while still being close to hiking trails, lakes, and other local attractions. The host was very responsive and accommodating, ensuring our stay was smooth from start to finish. We highly recommend this property for any group looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway in the Poconos.

Excellent stay at this property over the New Year's holiday. The house is in a great location on a quiet street and has a beautiful view of the lake. The space was great for our family with two children - plenty of sleeping space / arrangement options and comfortable to relax inside or out. Can easily accommodate a larger family or group without feeling overcrowded, despite the single bathroom. Santino is a great host with quick communication and everything went smoothly. We will definitely be back to this property in our future stays to NJ!

Comfortable cabin, great location, very friendly host. Felt like "home".

This accommodation is a great choice to get away from the noise of the city. The house is decorated beautifully and there no lack of space. We especially enjoyed the lake side deck and all the extra amenities like pool tables, ping pong, Jacuzzi and such. There was even a kayak near the lake if you are interested. The host was also very proactive and responsive to our every need and provided great instructions for check in, check out and house rules.

I was looking for some quiet after a stressful few months and something of a view. I love the water so I picked this place and it want a far drive from me. I felt at home and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could think of which was great because I really wanted to bake for myself and just do a great self care weekend which I did. Me and my pup got to have some alone time and hang by the water across the street at the gated off little beach. Hung out in the hammock and sat on the boat launch. Exactly what I needed. Definitely coming back !

Alice is a great host, and her place was absolutely what we were looking for. Beautiful views of the lake, that presented us with an exquisite sunset. The place was cozy, clean, very peaceful, and it met all of our expectations. We look forward to returning during a different time of the year.

We loved our stay at Janice’s lakehouse! The apartment was super homey — we honestly wished we had booked more than just one night. It was simple, clean, and even had some snacks waiting for us, which we really appreciated after our long drive. The patio overlooking the lake was the perfect spot to kick back, order some Doordash, and just relax. Janice was super responsive and made everything really easy. Would definitely come back!

This place was absolutely beautiful and was exactly what we were looking for. Clean studio right on the lake, nothing better than waking up and looking out onto the frozen lake from bed.

Fantastic experience! Kelly was very clear with instructions, check-in was an absolute breeze. Upon arrival we found the space exceptionally clean and well stocked with everything you could ever wish for. The bed was extremely comfortable and the views along the river did not disappoint. Also loved being able to have a campfire after a long day of hiking. Great place :)

We had a wonderful three-month stay here at the lake. The setting was beautiful and Elmir was a fantastic host. I especially liked watching the people enjoying the lake when it was frozen over, and the Buffleheads and other diving ducks after the ice was gone.

Johns place was perfect for a little getaway. Our dog loved it as much as we did. We walked around the lake with stunning views (especially around fall season) and the fireplace is great for doing s’mores at night. Dasha was absolutely amazing, friendly and always reachable if anything.

We had a great time here. The outdoor space, deck and kayak/ paddle boat was a big bonus. We will definitely go back!

This was my husband & I's first Airbnb experience, and absolutely glad we chose this cottage for our first wedding anniversary weekend getaway! I booked the trip very last minute and the responsiveness was very quick and we were accommodated the next early morning, I was wowed by how quick it was. The instructions were very clear with check in/out, house rules, using amenities including the boat, fire pit and overall organization of all the information, loved how everything was laid out. We also got a recommendation of restaurants and experiences in the local area with description of each when we arrived in a binder. As soon as we walked in, the coffee & candy was on table with a little welcome note. WE WERE IN LOVE WITH THE PLACE! Cleanliness is 10/10 with all beds made, towels sectioned, awesome shower with sitting area, and OMG the level of spices/cooking supplies available was just perfect for making the perfect meal. This cottage by the lake was everything i was looking for!!!

Chateau René is the perfect peaceful escape. The home cozy and well maintained - exactly as pictured. The view made every morning feel like a dream. René was so warm, responsive, and accommodating. He shared great local recommendations and clear instructions for the house, which made settling in a breeze. The most special part of my stay was getting engaged here! René secretly coordinated with my now-fiancé and friend to make it all happen. His excitement and willingness to help meant a lot to us. Overall, 10/10 stay. We’ll definitely be back!

A hidden gem! This spot has a ton of character and the hosts are awesome! The lake and surrounding area is beautiful as well, with plenty to do for the outdoorsy type and cute shops and great restaurants within minutes. would highly recommend and hope to find time for a return trip!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The house was adorable with everything you could want for a relaxing weekend away. We loved the hot tub and fire pit! The hosts included s'mores fixings and a bottle of wine..... Which was appreciated! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great place to be with beautiful views of a private lake, gorgeous sunrises, cozy cottage and warm, electric fireplace a plus, full kitchen, near my family and friends, and my favorite places to hike and enjoy nature, easy access from route 84, very peaceful and tranquil and great hosts

The Forest Cottage, hosted by Stella, provided an excellent escape for our family. Although the weather wasn't the best during our stay, we made time to fish, ride paddle boats, greet animals, and make s'mores by a fire pit, all on the property. We even managed to cook a meal and gather around the indoor fireplace with a movie on a cold, rainy evening. The cottage was the perfect size for our party: Three adults, two kids, and a dog. The bedrooms were comfortable, and there was space to stretch out. The area is beautiful and fun to explore from PA to NY to NJ and back within a 30-minute drive. We would love to get back and explore more in more inviting weather. We appreciate Stella's communication and allowing us to stay at her property, which is full of amenities.
