This house is beautiful I’m very happy to have used your space to get ready for my wedding, the hot tub was a great way to relax the night before the wedding. Highly recommend

We were celebrating a 50th birthday with a spa day nearby. The 4 bedrooms was a dream! The house had all we needed and then some. The host was amazing from beginning to end. Responsive. Proactive. Friendly. We spent 2 stormy nights and we're cozy the whole time. Thanks for the great weekend.

The spot was perfect for us, a great little cottage by the lake. The lake was gorgeous! Chris was very responsive for all of our changes in schedule and questions we had and even left us a little welcome gift of some snacks and drinks. It was incredible and we would stay there again! also it is much closer to Halifax than you think! Turn on tolls when looking because everyone uses the toll bridge and it's just 1.25$ at time of writing and it saves 20 minutes to get into Halifax!

Beautiful spot! Although the weather wasn't great it was peaceful and relaxing. Our kids fished all weekend and loved it. The house was beautiful and clean. Chris was always responsive to questions. Great stay!

Kelly & Doris were so accommodating, and helpful. We had the absolute best time during our stay. The property is stunning, and very well kept. Our children loved having the playground across the pond to play at. Waking up there every morning was so peaceful. We will cherish the memories we made at this private little oasis.

Our family had a fantastic Christmas at Deanna’s. It looks exactly as advertised, and is just really comfortable. Deanna was very helpful and timely in responding to questions, prior to, and during our stay. She was very flexible and accommodating to meet our timing needs. Awesome location and view. The accommodation is great, well taken care of and great for a family stay. Will definitely stay here again if back in the area.

Our large family enjoyed a 5 night stay at the house and it is easily one of the nicest in our memory of AirBnB homes. There was lots of space for our group and the little kids loved exploring outside. We hosted some extra family one evening for dinner and found everything needed in the well appointed kitchen. The beds were very comfortable too! We loved everything about this home. It's little out of the city but that was ok for us. A memorable trip for us!

Went to spend my 60th birthday with dear friends and we had a wonderful time! Great location near of my favorite places but yet still remote! Hope to be back soon!

We loved the location central to going to Halifax and Mahone Bay and Lundenburg also for going to our next place. Clean neat and tidy great shower all the amenities you need for a short stay!!

This was the most amazing place. We spent a week here and Everything you needed or wanted was right in this place. The surroundings were peaceful, very inviting. Gillian checked in with us halfway through our stay to see if we needed anything. The beds were very comfy. The firepit is beautiful there was a fully stacked wood pile to use for the fire. There were lots of chairs all around to sit outside or out by the the dock. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you Gillian and Scott for your hospitality.

We had a wonderful long weekend stay at Marvin’s cozy and comfortable home, which truly felt like a home away from home. This getaway was a special gift to our parents for their 80th birthday, and thanks to Marvin’s welcoming space, we were able to create beautiful memories together. We spent our days visiting historic sites and our evenings enjoying quality time playing pool, board games, relaxing in the hot tub, and sharing heartfelt conversations. The house was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. A sincere thank you to Marvin for helping make this weekend such a treat. We’ll definitely be back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this home to others looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway.

We stayed for 6 months and it was absolutely wonderful! There were lots of beaches and trails nearby to take our dog. The views were amazing! We even saw a seal once! The apartment was beautiful as well, especially the kitchen (as someone who loves to cook and bake it was perfect!) It's the perfect distance from Halifax if you don't like the bustle of a city but still want to do some sightseeing if you don't mind driving a bit! Overall we loved every part of our stay :)

We absolutely loved stayed at Tee’s place, everything was beautiful, and it was a really comfy spot for our family. Tee was lovely and helpful all the way through. We all enjoyed ourselves and found everything exceptionally clean and easy to use. We so appreciated the extra touches and we can’t wait to come back!

Excellent host and very hospitable. The accommodation was very clean. Location is great because it is very close to Dalhousie.

Blue Forest Shores is truly an amazing getaway for us and we would definitely come back when we’re in Nova Scotia again. We stayed at the Boat house which has beautiful view and is very private. Our hosts, Yaro, Savayda, and Wouter are extremely nice and genuine and we actually felt like visiting our family home. Thank you so much for your amazing hospitality and we will see you again!

Scott's place was a great little oasis in the woods. The location is very private and feels like you are escaping the everyday. The house is well appointed and had everything we needed to cook and relax for 2 days. The hot tub and fire pit are great amenities and the dock was a great walk to look out to the lake.

We had such a great time, they have so much to offer, a hot tub, fire pit, propane seating under a gazebo, trampoline and a beautiful open spacious cottage. It rained a bit so we were not able to use the fire pit, but we used the propane pit under the gazebo which was cozy and perfect.

Great spot to visit for a weekend getaway! Even though the cabin is attached to their house, the hosts made us feel secluded and welcome.

Our stay was amazing! Craig and Kim were just amazing. The complimentary charcuterie was such a nice touch. But OMG the breakfasts were outstanding! Their cabin is so cozy and clean, that we just felt right at home. We did spend a lot of time on the back deck that they just built and enjoyed refreshments in the hot sun, listening to the ocean. We also had our chocolate lab (Cooper) with us and they welcomed him with open arms. Thank you Kim & Craig! We hope to back again.

Our stay at Luke’s Lodge was the perfect getaway location perfectly nestled into Falls Lake NS we had everything needed from a cozy campfire area,hot tub soaks, a beautiful kitchen area and the cozy yellow couch we curled up in every evening! Super responsive hosts who are there if you need anything and perfect place for anyone who are pet owners to couples looking for a cozy getaway 10/10 would recommend !!!
