Vacation rentals with lake access in Hakone

This venue was absolutely stunning! My friends and I stayed here to celebrate me and my now fiancée’s engagement. The view of Mt. Fuji was so stunning, and I could not have asked for a better area to stay!

Generally. We have a great stay here. If you wish to experience the vibe house of Japanese style (for foreigners like me) with breathtaking view of Mount Fuji (yeah they are not scam - their unit Is exactly giving spectacular Mt Fujisan!) - then in summary this unit a must place to book 😍

C’est une maison traditionnelle japonaise. Elle est très bien décorée et peut accueillir facilement 4 voyageurs. Quand il fait beau, il y a une belle vue du mont Fuji depuis la maison. Elle se trouve à 2 min d’un beau temple. À savoir que la maison est à environ 5km de la gare dé kawaguchiko, donc je conseillerais de louer une voiture pour être autonome et se balader autour du mont Fuji sans prendre les bus (facile de se garer): Je recommande ce logement à 100%.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful, spacious home in Hakone, just steps away from Lake Ashi. Every morning we were lucky to catch a stunning view of Mount Fuji. The house combines traditional charm with modern comforts. We loved our time here! The restaurant downstairs was delicious, and communication with the host was very smooth.

location was quite near Kawaguchiko station (10min walk) and very near to a Toyota rent-a-car! Many toilets and showers, perfect for our group of 7!

天井が高く、開放感のあるお部屋でとても快適に過ごせました。ホストの方もとても親切で、乳児連れであることを気遣ってくださり、細やかな配慮が本当にありがたかったです。またぜひ利用したいと思える素晴らしい滞在先でした。

This place has breathtaking view outside. Right, particularly when it’s snowy. Walking distant to the lake, A shrine, even a hiking path. All facilities are great, quiet place for meditation. Enjoyed it a lot. And a perfect place for our last night of this trip.

We had a wonderful stay at Haostay Fujikawaguchiko — the house is spacious, spotless, and perfect for a group of 7–10 people. I really loved the layout; it has that cozy Japanese charm with a clean, modern touch. The amenities were more than sufficient, and the kitchen worked well (though I recommend asking how to use the appliances before stocking up on groceries). The location is very convenient — just a short walk to the lake (5 mins walk), yagizaki park (10-15 mins walk) and a nearby 7-Eleven (5 mins walk). It’s about a 10-minute drive or a 25-ish minute walk to Kawaguchiko Station. Do note that catching a local bus or taxi from the property can be a bit tricky, so I highly recommend booking a taxi in advance if you’re traveling with large luggage. Chihiro was a super helpful and responsive host — I truly appreciated the support. Definitely recommend this place, and I hope to return someday!

My family like the place. The surrounding is peaceful. Amenities are as per description and he even provided free toiletries (toothbrush etc). House very clean and insulation is good. Really helpful during winter. Mattress is comfy too. Managed to get clear view of Mount Fuji on the road near to the house. Thanks for having us.

Hidden in the quiet area of Lake Yamanaka is this homey cozy airbnb. The view of Fujisan can be admired from the very balcony; the sunrise, sunset, all the flavors from the comfort of the living room. The room is minimally decorated with useful amenities and nothing detracts from the Fujisan viewing experience. Highly recommended for solo travelers, friends or couples who love quiet and peace. Accessing it is very easy if you rent a car. Very impressed, will definitely return!

Chiyo était adorable et très réactive durant tout notre séjour ! Elle nous a accueillie aux petits soins. L’appartement était conforme à la description : très propre, grand pour deux personnes avec tout le matériel nécessaire. Salle de bain adjacente il faut sortir de l’appartement pour y accéder mais ce n’est pas un soucis car c’est vraiment à côté et elle est très grande. Je recommande !

Great area and stay, host was very helpful and quick to respond.

The place is very spacious for my wife and I and it feels very comfortable every time we come back home after a long day. The view of Fuji-san from the window is always breathtaking every morning. The tatami mat room is very comfortable and relaxing to rest in. The place is within walking distance from Kawaguchiko Station, 7-11 and the popular Lawson outlet.

The unit is just 1 min walking from Kawaguchiko Station, Mt Fuji clearly seen from airBNB. The host is so nice and helpful

It is my second time to stay in this hostel and everything is excellent. The house is very close to the bus station and Lake Yamanakako, so you can rely on public transportation to arrive here from Tokyo. The room is quiet and clean, and the public space is also large and convenient. The host provides nearby restaurants recommendations and bike rental as well. Definitely recommend for travelers.

我们一家8口在这非常日式又创新的房子里度过了非常难忘的一天…一进入房子就被深深的吸引住了…我们到达的时间已经有点晚了…可是屋主还是非常热情的接待我们…还不忘提醒我们在来的路上要小心…因为当天山中湖下雪了…我们一家人的第一次下雪体验就是在这里体验了…真的被周围迷人的雪景给迷住了…虽然看不到富士山但是却得到了非常迷人的雪景…距离山中湖的个个网红打卡点都非常靠近…但是这一次的旅程我们没机会看到迷人的富士山…希望以后还能有机会再来一次这个房子…然后再欣赏富士山不一样的美景…我在这里非常非常的推荐大家入住这家温馨舒适民宿…there will be a next time only if there is regret..

My family and I had a great time at the cottage! It was very cozy and had everything we needed. Our young son had a great time playing in the snow and staying warm by the fire. We also got to see lovely views of Mt. Fuji on our drive to the cottage.
