the accommodation was grand and spacious. the bedrooms were comfortable. there was issue with the bathroom doors not able to close. the host was responsive and said will get fixed. the common areas felt a bit hot due to lack of fans or ac. host said will adress this. overall will recommend this place

Absolutely beautiful hut to stay in with my family. The pool was lovely, the food amazing and the natural beauty of the surroundings was incredible! The staff are amazing, very handy to communicate with. Very helpful indeed. The beds were fabulous and I adored the quality of the bed sheets. We slept very well indeed. It’s a must stay!

We really enjoyed our short stay at Harmony. The property of Raintree and his wife is like a little paradise – beautiful and peaceful. Harmony is definitely a highlight, with its large windows right by the water and the lovely terrace and pool. The food was also absolutely delicious (though not included in the price). We highly recommend Harmony and would love to return!

The cabana is modern and beautiful, with a lovely garden surrounding it. The place felt very cozy and The staff was very helpful and quick to answer any questions and booked a safari for us. They were also kind enough to prepare breakfast in advance to take with us on a very early hike. We did have an instance where we were waiting for food that we ordered for very long which was annoying, but this was simply a miscommunication from both sides, as we assumed it was room service rather than at the restaurant area. The daytime was full of lovely nature sounds, but at night it was a bit noisy from other properties nearby playing loud music. There are restaurants within walking distance, but sites such as Sigiriya rock are 20 mins away by car. Overall, would highly recommend to stay here!

I recommend Nilambara Lake View to everyone. The place is located few kilometers from the road, it’s peaceful, you can relax in the pool. The host is also really helpful, breakfasts are delicious! :)

This location was great! The location was difficult to find at first due to the address being incorrect. I was able to contact the host via phone. Pool was very dirty. Rooms were clean. The staff at this location was amazing! Very accommodating, made sure me and my guests had everything we needed. They have a chef at the location. Food was amazing. Did not have to go anywhere else for food. Had dinner and breakfast here. The location was beautiful, had lots to see and look at. The staff made the experience very enjoyable, would definitely go back again for this reason.

La stanza si trova in un edificio ancora in costruzione (il loft) a qualche metro da quello principale (la villa) ed è molto spaziosa, con ampie finestre lungo tutte le pareti che affacciano direttamente sulla giungla e su un'ampia terrazza privata dove poter cenare e fare colazione. Nonostante il late check in siamo stati accolti con grande cortesia e professionalità e la chef Selvi si è proposta di cucinare la cena nonostante il tardo orario e il fatto che non lo avessimo richiesto in anticipo. La colazione e la cena sono servite direttamente sul terrazzo privato e sono sempre deliziose, siamo stati in Sri Lanka per 20 giorni e non abbiamo mangiato cibo tradizionale più buono di quello cucinato da Selvi. C'è anche una bellissima piscina (che però non abbiamo utilizzato). La pulizia della stanza e del bagno era buona. Il verde, la professionalità dello staff e la deliziosa cucina di Selvi hanno reso il nostro soggiorno davvero perfetto! Istuti!

Die Villa ist ein sehr guter Ort um sich wohl zu fühlen, das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend, Wenn man einen Fahrer braucht oder etwas von einem Laden braucht, kann man sie einfach fragen. Hier und da waren ein paar Spinnenweben, das hat mich aber nicht gestört.

The Cabins in Habarana are a must!! The accommodation is even more beautiful in person and is so tranquil. The staff were terrific - they helped us organise trips to Hurulu Eco Park for elephant safari (an amazing experience), Lions Rock, the Caves in Dambulla and our transfer to Kandy. We also ate there both nights of our stay and the food was fabulous.

Our stay at Bandara’s place was a truly remarkable one. The place was designed by the host himself and has a local feel to it. The host is wonderful and responsive. The breakfast we ordered was also healthy and fresh. Bandara’s wife offered us fresh watermelon juice after a long day and it was a great touch. Bandara and his family were always one floor away and were very helpful and responsive. Bandara sent us a van for pickup from the airport at a convenient price and greeted us with tea. He offered to drop and pick us up to surrounding places. The host also arranged for a jeep to pick us up for a safari at a very reasonable price. Bandara also spoke to us about his personal experiences and told us some stories about himself and provided us with excellent local tips. We enjoyed our stay at Bandara’s place and would recommend Iduwara Guest to anyone. Looking forward to visiting again!

Mega toller und authentischer Kochkurs. Alle Produkte werden im eigenen Garten in absoluter Bio-Qualität angebaut. Man merkt, dass die Inhaber es mit absoluter Leidenschaft betreiben. Außerdem erhält man noch super viele gesundheitliche Infos zu sämtlichen Pflanzen und Früchten im Garten. 100% Empfehlung.

It was a really nice stay. Bandula was a friendly host and gave tipps for sigiriya. The breakfast was a a really nice top on. We would recommend it and its a good location to slow down a little bit and reach everything good in sigiriya.

schöne Unterkunft mit einem riesigen Garten und eigenem Balkon. Zimmer hatte auch eine Klimaanlage. Die Lage war etwas außerhalb, Supermarkt und Restaurants waren aber zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir haben auch Empfehlungen bekommen was wir für Sehenswürdigkeiten anschauen könnten. Es hätte sogar die Möglichkeit bestanden, dass direkt Touren gebucht werden mit Abholung in der Unterkunft, auch können direkt Tuktuks organisiert werden, jedoch sind diese teurer als wenn man selber zur Straße vor geht. Wegen einer Doppelbuchung müssten wir unser Zimmer 1 Tag früher verlassen, jedoch wurde sich um eine Alternative im Ort gekümmert und wir haben das Frühstück gratis bekommen. Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt dort.

The stay in Sisira's tree house was definetely one of the best experiences I have had in my life! If you want to live a REAL experience of immertion in the nature and you want to see closely the wildlife of Sri Lanka, this is the place. The house is amazing. The food of Sisira's wife is delicious. Sisira's family and neighbours are lovely and adorable, as well as incredibly good guides of the beautiful sourrinding lands. The jungle, the river and the lake ar at 5 minutes walking. Awesome landscape in the day, the sounds of the jungle in the night, a small campfire is always burning. You feel wild but also 100% safe all time. Only 3 nights, but a memory in my heart forever. I really hope to come back soon. Thank you so much Sisira and all your family!!! Really wish all the best.
