In the middle of the forest, on a clearing, 3 km from the beautiful town of Gartow, lies our special retreat. If you are looking for peace and quiet in nature and value simplicity and goodness, this is the place. The old half-timbered building, a former stable, was renovated with high quality and sustainably with natural materials. Clay plaster on the walls and the wood-burning stove guarantee an excellent indoor climate, and the walk to the wood-fired sauna promises absolute relaxation!

In nur zwei Gehminuten seid ihr am schönen Elbstrand oder dem Marktplatz mit kleinen Cafés und Stöbergeschäften. Mit der Fahrradfähre seid ihr in 5 Minuten auf der anderen Elbseite von wo aus euch ein angenehm befahrbarer Radweg immer den Fluss entlang führt. P.s. Geheimtips für die besten Elbstrände zum picknicken und bestaunen der Sonnenuntergänge sind natürlich inklusive.

Dannenberg in the magnificent Wendland with beautiful cycling trails, forests and the nearby Elbe. Great outdoor swimming pool nearby, good close shopping, sauna can be booked from September to the end of April. (10€ hour) On weekends only both nights, no one night booking. It is an apartment, Airbnb represents it as a treehouse! Large staircase up, large apartment, large balcony- no shared use. For check-in, the door will be open from 3 pm, the key is inside.

The guest house is very cozy and stylish with many details, such as furniture, windows, etc., which have been designed and built in individual production and with a lot of love for detail. If you are looking for peace and relaxation in a stylishly furnished ambience, this is the place to be. The Elbe Cycle Path and Elbe Dike are about 200 meters from us.

The vacation room (7 square meters) has a separate entrance and impresses with cozy comfort. Despite the very small size, everything you need to relax is there. The sofa is single bed size and can be pulled out to double the width. Opposite is a dining area, a flat-screen TV and access to the daylight bathroom with shower. In addition, there is a small mini-kitchen in the bathroom. There is an electric hotplate, as well as pots, crockery and cutlery.

Children are very welcome here, because there is a lot available from the playhouse, the sandbox, to high-quality toys inside and out, which delights children and gives parents time.

The wooden house is in a very quiet location, the neighbors are very quiet and hardly noticeable. The surrounding meadows and forests make it a relaxing place. Lüneburg is about half an hour away. The Elbe can be reached in 10 minutes by car. The nearest shops are 10-15 minutes away. The house invites you to relax. The cozy bed is suitable for 2 people. There is also a sofa bed in the fireplace room which can be used.

We had wonderful days in Jacqueline's great apartment. With its two bedrooms and two bathrooms and the large living room, the apartment was perfect for a relaxing girls' vacation. Everything is very tasteful, personal and furnished with a lot of love for detail, so we immediately felt at home. The amenities are perfect and nothing is missing. The apartment is located in an absolutely quiet residential area. Unfortunately, there is no lake view, but it is only a few steps to the lake and the covered terrace with a cozy lounge corner and view of the idyllic garden invites you to sit outside. Walking, you are in about 20-25 minutes in the city center of Schwerin. There is probably also a bus, but we didn't use it, especially since the footpath is really nice - always along the lake shore. All in all, my absolute recommendation for this apartment!

We visited Constanze for two nights to see the Perseids and just get some distance and tranquility from the big city jungle. We have not been missed. The place has lots of charming details that want to be discovered. Everything we needed/would have been in situ. Constanze is a very lovely hostess who takes great care of her guests and is happy when you feel comfortable. The entire yard is great, the garden design prepared with attention to the details. We immediately made friends with the cat Leon, who relaxed the whole stay with us again and again. The dyke in front of the door invites you to walk/cycle and on the terrace with sky lounger you can end the day relaxed. It was also great that we could use the bikes available on site to explore the area. We hope to come back to this beautiful place again.
