Vacation rentals in Grohote

We had a lovely 8 night stay. The place is in a small village on a quiet island, so there isn't a huge amount to do, but this was absolutely perfect for us and our three youngish kids. The place itself had absolutely everything we needed already provided and ready to use, including dishwasher and washing machine. But the highlights for us were the swimming pool, the fully equipped outdoor wood and charcoal bbq and eating area. With these, some days we didn't even feel the need to leave the villa. A special mention must go out to the hosts too. They were charming, so friendly and during our stay brought us delicious and home made produce. We really couldn't have been made to feel more welcomed. We didn't have a car, but go by ok by using a mix of buses and taxis'. We went a couple of times to Maslinica, a lovely beach with some shade, clear sea, bar, shops and restaurants using the local bus which was easy to get to, quick and reliable.

We had a great stay, Daniela's place is perfect for rest and relaxation, so many outside areas to eat, read a book etc. And the pool was a welcome relief for a cooling dip. The house was bigger than expected and always grateful for the basics like coffee, oil etc being available - although the supermarket was very close. We didn't have a car and managed well with the local buses but a big thank you to Mario for collecting us with our luggage from the ferry ⛴️

Vi hadde et fantastisk opphold. Leiligheten til Emina var ren og ordentlig og hadde alt vi trengte. Flott utsikt fra leiligheten over bukten. Tok oss bare 3-4 minutter å gå ned til stranden. Den lokale matvarebutikken var også få minutter unna å gå til. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake til dette stedet.

Solta is a beautiful and peaceful island to take a break on, with some lovely beaches, great restaurants and pretty villages. Villa Azzurro is a great base to explore the island - the villa itself is superb, it is equipped with everything you need and more, and is well situated very close to Rogac harbour and the ferry. Extra amenities - kayaks and bikes - made the stay even more enjoyable and allowed us to explore the island. Definitely recommended.

Wir hatten wunderschöne Tage in der Unterkunft von Ema. Ihre Eltern haben uns eine super Wegbeschreibung gegeben und waren ganz reizend und super gut erreichbar. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und gepflegt und die ganze Insel entspannt. Das Feriengefühl hat sich sofort eingestellt. Wir haben es geliebt gleich am Morgen schwimmen zu gehen (3 Minuten vom Haus entfernt) und dann auf der tollen Terrasse mit Blick auf das Meer zu frühstücken. Es gibt einen super Grill im Garten und die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Im Ort gibt es kein Restaurant oder Café aber wir haben gerne gekocht und in Grohote eingekauft. Ansonsten kann man auf der Insel viele kleine Abenteuer erleben (wo ist der Weg zur Bucht/zum Restaurant…) und auch unser Teenager Sohn hat sich nicht gelangweilt. Wir mochten die Konoba Navera in Stormorska und das Lonely Paredise Restaurant, teuer aber super schön gelegen. Wir kommen bestimmt noch einmal wieder in diese tolle Unterkunft.

The Elixir was a great secret getaway. Located on top of a hill, the tiny house provides everything you need for 2 with a bedroom, bathroom, small equipped kitchen and a couch with a TV. It is the only property within lots of kilometers, so you can really enjoy some privacy and calmness and recharge your batteries. The infinity pool area with its stunning views is definitely the highlight, even though the water was a bit cold for the weather end of September. The stone grill/oven opens the possibility for a nice bbq dinner which we enjoyed. We had a problem with the warm water for a short time, but Ivo was very responsive and offered to fix it the next day. Communication with the host was great. Thanks Ivo!

Das Haus war für mich und meine beiden Söhne perfekt. Die Lage ist einfach unbeschreiblich schön und wir hatten in nächster Umgebung alles was wir benötigt haben. Andrei‘s Vater war ein toller Host. Er war jederzeit für uns ansprechbar und hat sich trotzdem dezent im Hintergrund gehalten. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder!! Vielen Dank!

I stayed at Villa Solta with my partner and our two children - we had a wonderful week on the island of Solta. The location was perfect for walking into Rogac where we could find idyllic spots to swim and an easy walk uphill back to the apartment. The perfect distance with two small children! Villa Solta also benefits from having a lovely pool to cool off in. We had breakfast one morning and also dinner one evening. Both of which were delicious! Zorica and her parents were fantastic hosts. Thank you for making our time in Solta a wonderful one!
