Townhome vacation rentals in Greater Bilbao

Roberto responded very quickly to a very late request for accommodation. Is parents were very friendly and helpful and supported us very well in getting to the property and settling us in. We speak little Spanish but we’re easily able to manage with the patience of our hosts. Would definitely recommend English families to try this very Spanish home and the area.

Luis is the best host you could ever wish for. He gives tips and will be available any time. The apartment is very nice and also has a wonderful garden. Unfortunately, there are buildings in the form of many skyscrapers in Laredo. The beach is only 200 meters away and very nice. Dog owners should know that Spain has a lot of restrictions. Many restaurants have a dog ban. Most beaches may not be entered even by leash. The penalties are very high, in Laredo from 701 euros. From 8.30 pm to 9 am, the dogs are allowed to go to the beach. Our dog enjoyed it very much. There are three dog beaches near Laredo. Luis gives the tips. Like I said, Luis reads every wish from the lips.

Nestled in a small village up in the mountains above Bilbao, Asier’s house at Garai is a comfortable, clean and well appointed oasis of calm. Asier is a friendly and responsive host who supplied lots of useful information before our stay. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday this is the place to go. And if you find you need some city centre excitement, the train station is a walkable distance down the hill from the house.

We have spent a week in the month of August and I can only say that the whole family, including older daughters and other teenagers has really enjoyed the stay. The house is very comfortable and equipped, the area is quiet and very close to the beach, which is perfect and safe for swimming and with easy waves for surfing. The village is very nice and despite being August it is not saturated and has all kinds of services. We consider repeating the experience.

We cannot thank Esperanza enough - she was a lifesaver! We traveled to Bilbao as a party of 3 in the madness that was the Europa football final. Esperanza was extremely sensitive to the fact that we had driven and allowed us to check in extremely early which we needed to catch up! She was flexible, communicated brilliantly and provided local recommendations and guidance so we properly fed ourselves and go into and out of the city! If only we had taken her advice on the taxi situation. As we left it was noted that someone had lost some personal jewellery - Esperanza and even phoned the stadium to try and locate it. I cannot recommend a stay with Esperanza enough and if I am ever traveling in the area with my family will be sure to consider returning! Thank you for everything!

Esperanza is a great host and a lovely person. Couldn't do enough for me and my son during our 3 night stay. Esperanza provided breakfast, detailed maps/guides for transportation into and outside the city and provided a network of contacts and services available. Thank You.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beach house! The proximity to the bar is a blessing and a curse, and the folks who come and sit on the benches right off the terrace are at first off-putting but as others have mentioned you get used to it! Many opportunities to be with nature and Bilbao is 45 minutes away and a “real deal/non-touristy” cider house “Sidreria Elexalde” less than forty. Great pintxos at nearly every bar and a very nice restaurant at Kanala Beach. We would stay here again. Especially appreciated the second outdoor shower for sandy feet after the beach!

The house was very well located, in a quiet area in the middle of nature but very well connected. The stay was fantastic, the house has everything you need, even with soaps and gels in all the bathrooms. It has all the cooking and bbq utensils. In addition to iron, washing machine, awning. It's a real luxury of home. Thank you very much!

Big appartment where we enjoyed a very pleasant stay. It was nice to have a complimentary bag of coal to use with the barbecue ! Convenient access to Bilbao or to the gorgeous area of the Salto del Nervion. The kitchen ustensils are a bit scarce (no coffee machine or strainer).

The house was very clean, the beds super comfortable, the living room and the garden. It is very well connected, next to a supermarket and close to everything. The garden and the gorgeous views. Since we arrived the relationship with the host was second to none. She was always willing to make us feel comfortable. We travel 5 people to get to know both the Cantabrian coast and its interior, and what to say the location is perfect. The apartment on 3 levels is spacious, well-equipped. The closest beach is within 30 minutes' walk. The surrounding coast is beautiful.

Perfect stay. The area where the house is located is super quiet and very nice. Also, you were a 15 minute drive to all the nearest cities. Allow pets, a tip to travel with your furry. Asun was responsive at all times and was super friendly, a very good host. Highly recommended!

Lovely bakery, beach, walks & restaurants nearby. The house, pool & location were perfect. Spacious, clean & quiet. Perfect.

The house was great! Very spacious and comfortable. Hosts left everything needed for check-in, coffee, salt, soap...even toothbrushes and shaving kit (the teenage zanguango came great). The area of Cantabria is wonderful, Argoños, Santoña and the nearby beaches are a 10!! Thank you very much!
