Vacation rentals with a kayak in Great Britain

Such an amazing property and host. We was celebrating my brothers birthday Alex put decorations up and left a gift which was such a lovely gesture. We loved it there so much we are planning on making it an annual family trip. The house is set on the canal and the house comes with a boat, canoes and bikes which we made use of all weekend and made it so special.

Lovely warm welcome to me and my friends .The location is super , right get next to the water with a slipway to launch canoes and paddle boards , yet a 5minute walk into town . Enjoyed the hot tub in the evening. The Chalet was very spacious and well appointed . Great for few days away with friends , we would book again .

Such a wonderful location with use of the lake for paddleboarding and sailing……. Property was brilliant and well presented. Kate was always on hand to answer any questions and very responsive. Would be more than happy to return again.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. This was our third stay - the cottage is perfect for our family of four plus a dog. Despite some wet weather, we happily filled a week with swims in the loch/play on the boats, lovely walks around the farm tracks, biking at the nearby bike tracks, visiting waterfalls and castles. The cottage had everything we needed, it was very spacious and the lovely log burner kept us cosy on the cool evenings. Joe and Sue were both super helpful hosts, making us feel very welcome, and we would definitely like to stay again.

Greenlands Barn is set in a gorgeous, peaceful location but within easy access of shops and amenities. This cottage had everything you could possibly want or need. The river setting is beautiful and the canoe an added bonus! We thoroughly loved staying here.

We stayed for the weekend with a group of friends. It was ideal to explore the peaks and lakes in the area. Most places need to be accessed by car but taxis were available to get to Cartmel and other places locally. The place is perfect, we had a lot of space and really well equipped for our needs. Would definitely recommend it and happily stay again. Thank you

The property is excellent and it was such a shame we couldn't stay longer. It was peaceful, relaxing, and a great setting. The property itself is spacious, clean, and well laid-out. The garden is also a big positive, with plenty of space and habitats. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again

We had an amazing few days in Plymouth staying at David’s place. The cottage was spotless and very cosy, with a great location. The views were stunning and we would definitely book again. David was a great host, very responsive, friendly and helpful ;)

The check-in process was effortless, with the key conveniently left on the door—completely hassle-free. Booking the boat with Rob was straightforward, and his clear, brilliant demonstration made it easy for us to operate the boat independently. Great stay - location was brilliant. Stones throw from the quayside where the kids spent many happy hours crabbing. Perfect for what we were looking for and a great base to explore both North and South shore Cornwall. Will miss the view out of the top bedroom so much. Thanks Nic for being so responsive during our trip.

First time going back to somewhere we’ve stayed before and it was a welcome return to what we knew. Allison is a fantastic host, great at keeping in communication and has been really understanding. We look forward to staying again!

Our stay here was fantastic and peaceful but perfectly located to take a trip to RHS wisley. We sat down by the river one evening and watched the wildlife quiet and relaxing stay would recommend

Lovely time at Samphire Lodge. The property is wonderfully situated with an absolutely stunning view overlooking Loch Carron; we were lucky enough to have blues skies and warm weather during our visit, and so spent most of the day relaxing in the garden to the sound of birdsong. Bliss! The property itself was very comfortably furnished and clean: we particularly liked the bright, cosy living room and I, being the cook, appreciated the well-equipped kitchen. Locharron village is very picturesque, with a few friendly cafes and ideally situated to enjoy a host of breathtaking scenery nearby. A really wonderful hub if you want to explore the area, highly recommended.

Cozy little cabin in a very beautiful village, close to a few Munro's. The gardens are beautiful if you can brave the midgies or the wind is up. lot of nice walks around through beautiful woods, by the riverside and through wildflower meadows if you don't fancy a Munro.

Visited with young family, two under 1yr and a toddler, and the grandparents. Charlotte was very helpful in organising additional Baby Chairs and Travel Cots to save us space in the car which is a premium when travelling with kids. Lodge was very comfortable inside. Deck was well maintained and the retractible parasol over the outdoor table was great to keep the kids in the shade. We made full use of the BBQ, the venue provided food for feeding the swans/ducks and the views from the Jacuzzi during the sunset were great alongside the provided candles & evening fairy lights. In terms of the immediate local area we visited the wildlife park and also a local farm. The onsite restaurant meal we had on the Sunday evening was also pretty good but be mindful that it closes quite early for food. All in all a good 3 days with family and I’d definitely consider going back. Thanks Charlotte 👍

This was a beautiful stay, I didn’t want to leave the view of the lake was just so gorgeous to wake up to and watch the sun go down. It was so clean and had everything we needed to have a lovely stay

This was our second visit to the cabin, so we knew what to expect and weren't disappointed. Corin met us at check-in and we had a lovely catch up. We then just proceeded to chill out for the rest of our stay. The tub is spacious and hot, the garden is spacious, private and regularly visited by birds. We lived our stay and will definitely be back again, either in the cabin or in Eden Lodge. Thank you Rob and Corin.

This place is just amazing, absolute hidden gem, ive so many ppl texting and asking me where it is from my social media posts, loved every second of it, really strips it all back and takes you off the grid for a while, 1st time fishing and caught a pike! Took the boat onto the lake , was just unreal as the sunset, Robert is so kind , thanks so much for an amazing stay 😊
