Family-friendly vacation rentals in Grândola

Rita's place was the nicest Airbnb I have ever stayed in. We stayed with 8 adults & it was very comfortable for all. This place has everything you could need for your stay including a full kitchen with all equipment, several spacious double bedrooms with extremely comfortable beds, air conditioning in each room, there was a beautiful back garden area with a swimming pool, sun loungers and a long table for meals outside. We spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoor space. There was also a fantastic barbeque outside which we made use of and made lovely group dinners. The games room downstairs was an amazing touch and we had such fun using it. The location here was brilliant, it was about a 7 minute walk to the supermarket and lots of restaurants and the beach. Everything you need closeby! We would highly recommend booking this place in Ericeira if you are planning a trip there. Communication with the host was perfect, we will be back! Logement bien placé pour les visites et très bien équipé en ustensiles de cuisine. Nous avons apprécié la mise à disposition d'une documentation touristique complète et les diverses petites attentions d'accueil.

Emplacement idéal... vue mer. le logement était plus qu'à la hauteur de nos espérances. de grands espaces, logement ideal pour un grand groupe. je recommande!

We really enjoyed our 3 nights in the historic center of Sintra. It’s a beautiful small town area to be in. The apartment has everything you need. The location is very cool overlooking the main square. We enjoyed watching the town wake up in the mornings. So many restaurants and bakeries just steps from the front door. We had fun with that after coming from the Azores which are very quiet and remote. In the off season of early May, Sintra closes down by 7 pm. There are very few restaurants or shops open once the day tripping tourists leave. We were surprised by that but didn’t mind it as we were tired after our days spent walking around palaces and castles and beautiful gardens. I’d recommend this apartment to anyone as long as they don’t have mobility issues. There are 33 steps to climb once inside the building. Climbing them was worth it for the views of the historic center of Sintra.

Vladimir est un excellent hôte. Accueil parfait, très humain et beaucoup de gentillesse. L appartement est situé dans un oasis au calme à portimao. Il y a un accès piscine. Pour les enfants c est top. Les chambres sont bien et la literie était bien. Il faut la voiture pour visiter l Algarve. Les recommandations de Vladimir pour les restaurants et activités ont été vraiment appréciées.

Staying at Ana and Jorge’s place in Lisbon may be the best AirBnB experience I’ve had. They are super responsive and make sure you got in and settled. The listing is also very convenient to buses and metro, and doesn’t take a long time from the airport either. An ALDI and Auchan are nearby and the street is quiet at night. The listing was clean, comfortable, and was large enough that we felt we had enough personal space while we were there. But what really sets Ana and Jorge apart is how much they care. We were greeted with homemade food made by Ana and Jorge, left for us for when we arrived and they brought us something else to try later in our stay. It was all delicious and really shows how much they enjoy hosting guests. I highly recommend Ana and Jorge as hosts and this listing is perfect for a trip to Lisbon.

Yo disfruté especialmente de su estanque artificial. João es un anfitrión atento, con el que el contacto es fácil y rápido. Nos dio unas magníficas recomendaciones sobre restaurantes y playas. Repetiremos seguro.

We just finished a fabulous five night stay and highly recommend. Gui greeted us upon arrival and walked us through the home. It is a historic home so there are some quirks, though nothing crazy. The house was a perfect size for our party of 8 (ages 12-70). The location absolutely cannot be beat - we never walked more than 15 minutes to get anywhere we wanted to go which was much appreciated at the end of the night! There is noise as the home is centrally located but that is a worthwhile trade off for the location. Washer (line dry) worked well and there were umbrellas, towels, sand toys, etc for the beach. We did not cook at the house so cannot provide a review but kitchen was spacious and well stocked. There is only AC in two of the rooms but there are shutters that help keep the heat of the day out and there were two fans available as well. Especially for the price and location, this is a great home for a large group.

Bruno’s place was peaceful and a relaxing sanctuary including the bells from sheep next door He was helpful in suggesting local treasures and places to find local cuisine. Little touches around the sweet cottage added to feeling welcomed Also very responsive and accommodating. Would love to return

Muy buena ubicación y apartamento espacioso y organizado. Dotado de muchas cosas útiles que hacen mejor la estadía. La ducha es pequeña y algo incómoda para gente grande. Pero de resto todo excelente un super anfitrión gracias por toda la ayuda frente a cualquier pregunta

Beautiful spot. In a super central location with a great view of the ocean on both floors. Worth every penny.

Candida let us in, explained about the house, things to see and do in the area, including restaurants, the local mini market and butcher shop, beaches and other interest points. she gave us some helpful tips. the house is very suitable for young children. there are games for children in the house, plastic plates and cups. our 3&5 year olds really liked it. it is a short drive from the marina(less than 10 minutes) and from the beaches on the western coast.

Nuno and Suzana were such great hosts. Communication was excellent, we found the place easily with clear directions. The apartment was exactly as described, clean, well equipped and very welcoming. My son said he felt right at home during the stay. Location was fantastic as it wasn't in a very busy area but easy to get around being close to the Metro and it was so easy to take an Uber around. We found a local breakfast spot called Leiteria opposite the apartment served yummy pastries and refreshing yoghurt pots. We had such a great stay at Nuno and Suzana's!

Logement très bien placé dans le centre de Lisbonne, emplacement parfait pour visiter Lisbonne et ses alentours facilement. Le logement est facile d’accès et dans une petite rue paisible près du château. Il y faisait frais comme il faut avec les grosses chaleurs de dehors et nous avons très bien dormi. Enfin, Juan est un hôte formidable qui a fait le maximum pour que nous nous sentions à l’aise dans Lisbonne en nous donnant d’excellentes recommandations de restaurants et de sites à visiter. Il nous a également gardé nos valises après le check-out pour notre dernière journée à Lisbonne. Bref, un hôte incroyable que nous recommandons vivement pour sa gentillesse, sa réactivité et son sens de l’accueil !

This Airbnb was exactly what my group was looking for! The house looked just like the photos, and the hosts were incredibly accommodating. Upon check-in, we were warmly welcomed by Rudy’s mother, Sylvie, who kindly introduced us to the space. The pool and outdoor seating area were lovely additions, and having a walkable grocery store nearby was super convenient. Rudy and Sylvie were very responsive and made us feel truly welcome. We would absolutely stay here again—thanks for a wonderful experience!

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Bei der Unterkunft ist insbesondere der gigantische Pool ein Highlight sowie die ruhige Lage in der Natur mit Ausblick. Das Anwesen und Ferienhaus ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sehr authentisch. Man kann mit dem Auto in kurzer Zeit viele tolle Strände, Klippenwanderwege, sowie das sehr schöne Fischerdorf Sesimbra erreichen. Ausserdem haben wir Tagesausflüge nach Lissabon und Sintra unternommen. Die Gastgeberin Barbara war extrem hilfsbereit, freundlich und unkompliziert. Vielen Dank!

lovely house with a pool and outdoor seating area. four bedrooms, three decently sized with double beds and one room with a sofa bed that splits into two small single beds. lovely lounge area and kitchen, fabio was very kind to provide us with coffee and some snacks in the kitchen.

What a treat was this gem. Wonderful house with all the amenities anyone needs and more. Good coffee and food in walking distance. And a spacious view with privacy in your own garden with the wonderful pool. We’ll be back!

Avant toute chose, Ana, notre hôte, fait partie de ces personnes qui portent haut les couleurs de leur pays et qui vous font aimer le Portugal avant même d’avoir commencé à le visiter. Le logement et l’emplacement sont très biens, c’est très facile de se rendre à Lisbonne ou à Estoril ou dans la station balnéaire Cascais grâce au train qui est très simple d’utilisation. Nous avons adoré notre séjour et les sites que nous avons visités. Merci encore à Ana pour ses précieux conseils et nous espérons à bientôt ☺️

We had a lovely stay here despite dreadful weather! Ed was an amazing host, very fast at replying and great recommendations for restaurants which were all fab. House is in a lovely position and you feel very private once inside, its close to the rice paddy fields and you can walk to the beach which is a bonus. This is a lovely area with a beautiful beach but there is quite a bit of construction going on close by which is a shame. The noise didn't disturb us at all as it was up in the hills. The beach is quite wild but really lovely and has great restaurants & bars to watch the sunset. We wanted to surf but the waves wernt right here for our week but we found an amazing beach down the coast to surf so there are always options if you hire a car. Thanks Ed for a fab stay at your lovely house.

The place was very quiet, with a nice garden area. We didn’t even feel that the owner’s family was living upstairs, since we didn’t hear any noise at all. We had all the amenities needed, and slept very well in comfy beds. The fact that we were allowed to use the parking inside the house was very handy. The communication with Angelina was very easy and she responded promptly to our questions. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice quiet neighborhood, with easy access to Lisbon and Cascais/Sintra areas.
