We had an amazing stay with our young baby at Samuelle's place. The converted farmhouse building has a lot of character but was also modern and comfortable. The lake and ducks outside the door was very relaxing. The location is very quiet and peaceful. A car is essential for getting to local amenities but a large supermarket and a bakery are only a 5 minute drive away. The D Day landing beaches, museums and historic town of Bayeux can be reached within an easy 20 minute drive. Samuelle was a great host, she was very friendly and always able to help with any questions.

I've stayed in this house a number of times and it is a wonderful place to stay. Very close to the beautiful harbour of Port en Bessin, which is right in the middle of the D-Day beaches areas in Normandy, the house is spacious, comfortable, modern, well equipped and extremely clean. It has very nice outside space front and back, free parking right outside, a nice view. Highly recommended.

Het huis is prachtig. Met zoveel liefde ingericht.Aan elk hoekje is aandacht aan besteed. We voelden ons erg thuis in dit heerlijke familiehuis.Anne is heel behulpzaam en heel flexibel, we kregen een dag van tevoren bericht dat we mochten komen wanneer we wilden, heel fijn. Bij aankomst stond er een fles lokale cider klaar en confiture. In alle kamers verse bloemen. Het tuintje om de hoek was heerlijk en de zee 50 meter verderop prachtig. Heerlijk bakkertje in de straat en fijne terrasjes en restaurantjes. Ook is de supermarkt op loopafstand en ligt het tussen de landingsstranden. Eén perfect weekje op een magische locatie. Amazing space and super close to all the historical sites. Loved the ability to walk to town for dinner and groceries and the central location for various D-Day memorials. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful stay. The place was spotless, with very spacious rooms. We enjoyed the backyard, and the fully equipped kitchen. Super location, at 3 min walk from all the points of interest. I fully recommend this place!

Ich war bereits das zweite Mal Gast bei Jean-Luc. Es ist einfach ein unsagbar schön eingerichtetes Zimmer, man fühlt sich sofort zu Hause. Die Gegend ist unfassbar schön und bietet traumhafte Möglichkeiten zum wandern. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Superbe séjour passé chez Anne en plein centre de barfleur face au port. Le logement est juste magnifique et décoré avec goût. Nous recommandons vivement. La vue face au port est juste sublime avec le levé de soleil.

As others have mentioned this is an excellent holiday flat and superb base from which to explore Normandy and the beautiful city of Caen. The flat is clean, comfortable and is very well equipped for self-catering though the nearby town center bars and restaurants may tempt you out at little more that you planned. Highlights include secure and convenient parking, excellent bathroom and shower, comfortable bed and the bonus of a lovely private garden to kick back while sampling the local calvados in the evening. As mentioned the flat is very central with a five minute walk into the center for fresh bread and croissants in the morning. Caen itself is full of surprises with beautiful churches and abbeys combined with a very laid back atmosphere. Though we did not meet Christine her ongoing communication was both discrete and charming. Book you wont regret it. 5 stars all round

We found Miline’s place perfect for us. Four nights in Bayeux with our son and his wife. Great access to the American Cemetery, walking distance to the Cathedral and the Tapestry and so many wonderful fun restaurants and cafes. The kitchen was just right for our breakfasts and the grocery close by provided the pastries and fruit for our morning meal. We bought flowers at Arts and Fluers that were just right for the graveside ceremony . Everything we needed for our planned time in Bayeux. A town so worth visiting !

Très bel appartement, très bien situé et très bien équipé. Au calme avec une vue magnifique. Marianne est une ôte disponible et sympathique. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de Langrune/mer et nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

We really enjoyed our stay. The flat was flawlessly cleaned and really comfortable. The bathroom shower is particularly great and we enjoyed the view of town from the balcony and the farms out the back window. The place made for a great home base while we explored some of the surrounding area in Normandy. Would recommend!

L'appartement d'Isabelle est très bien aménagé et confortable, proche du port et du marché aux poissons, très bien situé pour visiter les principaux sites du débarquement, Isabelle est sympathique et réactive, bonne adresse à conseiller.

Karine went above and beyond in every way. Her place is well located, clean, easily accessible, and a GREAT VALUE! She had a kitchen and great amenities. She was quick to respond to texts, flexible, was in a great location on the beach. Her kindness was one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you, Karine!

Good location in the centre of town close to everything (including Juno Beach Centre). On the third floor so lots of stair climbing. Apartment is small but cute and the sofa bed is very comfortable.

Très bon accueil cool de Katrin. Appartement très agréable, décoré avec goût, calme, confortable, très propre, bonne literie, le parking souterrain est un vrai plus. Bien situé entouré d'Houlgate, Dives sur Mer et Port Guillaume, Cabourg et sa promenade, et la mer devant soi ! Même si le soleil n'était pas au RDV, que du bonheur, c''était très ressourçant ! Je recommande vivement et c'est avec plaisir que nous pensons revenir.

Great place to stay. Close to the beach and the amazing architecture of the town. Shops, bars & restaurants are nearby, but not too close to disturb the peace.

Appartement très fonctionnel et bien équipé, à 2 pas de la plage, mais aussi à 5 min d'une petite supérette/café /commerces. Pour les marcheurs plus aguéris, la gare se situe à 30 min et le centre-ville à 25 min à pieds par la plage. Olivier nous a chaleureusement accueilli en personne et a répondu à toutes nos questions. Villers-sur-mer est une station balnéaire très agréable et familiale.

We are fortunate enough to travel a lot, and this was one of our favorite stays ever. Exactly as described and it just worked out great. Hope to stay again someday!

Yannick has a wonderful property located perfectly in the center of Bayeux. It is an older building with a lot of character so I would recommend packing what you need in a duffel bag as a suitcase would be a struggle. Yannick also alerted us to the free car park nearby which saved us money and worry of where to park. The only minor thing I would say could be easily improved would be maybe better/more pillows. Overall it was fantastic value for what we paid - highly recommend.
