Cabin vacation rentals in Grand Union Canal

Really great stat at Windmill Farm. Our two boys (5 and 3) loved seeing the chickens each morning and having the farm park so close by was great. They could have spent hours in the excellent soft play barn - and we didn't even get round to all the activities available on the farm. Cabin was lovely, and Stacey and Stephen were really helpful. A great place to stay with two young kids!

We loved the location! Stunning views and a gated entrance giving a secure feel. Our cabin was lovely - well equipped with loads of extra goodies which was a lovely touch. Bath towels provided and separate towels for the hot tub. Sadly the hot tub wasn’t working for our visit however we were very quickly told that we could use the hot tub at the main residence, which actually had even better views so that wasn’t a problem and we didn’t feel overlooked or a bother. We loved having all the animals around the farm and grew especially fond of Lenny the cat who spent a lot of time with us. The hosts were incredibly friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Myself and my partner stayed for 2 nights at Alex and Liz’s lovely cabin. We had a wonderful stay and felt very relaxed. The hot tub was a fantastic addition to our stay. The cabin is beautiful and very clean. It’s tucked away next to a beautiful field and we felt very close to nature! We had a very peaceful time and was just what we needed to escape the busy city life! Alex and Liz are amazing hosts. They are very friendly, warm and welcoming. They respected our privacy but were incredibly quick to respond if we had any issues or problems. We couldn’t praise them enough! If you are thinking of staying at their cabin, we would strongly recommend you do! We would definitely love to return in the future!

Very peaceful and relaxing stay. We went to the wrong Hill Farm (thanks google!) read the directions from Emily’s guidebook! The green gate is opposite Old Hill Farm and is next to the thatch cottage. Super stay!

Incredible stayed in May there were loads of baby geese and bunnies all around the lake. Incredible views. The lake water is so beautiful. Kitchen has all you need to cook. Could seem to figure out the dryer function on the washer or if the clothes stand was the dryer they had listed. Would definitely go again they supplied a cot and high chair for our little one.

It's exactly as the pictures are - lovely and quiet. Will was a really good host, very responsive and was super helpful when setting up the hot tub etc. The Airbnb is really well located for what we wanted, we spent the day at Bletchley Park which was great. If you're staying for more than a couple of nights and have the capacity to I would pack some extra pillows and cushions. The bed is pretty good considering that it's the table too. The perfect place for a short stay away!

What a wonderful place to stay! The lodge is lovely and so spacious. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. We unfortunately didn’t have the opportunity to use the hot tub but it looked fab. Lovely to be able to take the dogs, even if the fields full of rabbits did create rather a lot of excited barking from the 1 year old. I would definitely recommend a visit here and hope to return in the future.

Absolutely superb mini-break for me and the family….did exactly what it said on the tin! Quiet, peaceful, remote and private but with plenty to do locally so never got bored! The house was immaculate and had everything you’d expect from a log-cabin with great outside and indoor spaces. Wood fired hot tub was a great feature as was the sauna outside - fronting onto a quiet reservoir and with country walks to Welford which is only 20 min walk from the lodge. Host was very responsive and friendly with one of the best welcome packs I’ve seen with multiple links to local attractions and places to visit. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, Hare’s Folly is the place to go!

We stayed for one night after a trip to Whipsnade zoo and Rebecca's lodge exceeded expectations! Such a cosy place in peaceful surroundings, we really loved watching the wildlife from the decking. So thoughtful to provide milk and bread too. Thank you, we hope to stay again.

A Perfect Bank Holiday Escape – Tranquil, Welcoming, and Memorable We had a fantastic bank holiday weekend at Victoria and Daniel’s beautiful wooden cabin. From the start, the hosts were incredibly thoughtful - offering help with our bags, providing pool floats for our baby, and being on hand for anything we needed. The cabin itself was clean, cosy, and full of character, set in a peaceful area surrounded by nature. We loved the nearby canal walks and having a few great pubs just a short walk away. The garden was especially lovely, perfect for relaxing and soaking up the quiet surroundings. There were a couple of very minor things that could use a little touch-up, but nothing that took away from our experience. Overall, a truly enjoyable and relaxing stay – we’d happily return!

We have just returned from a lovely long weekend. The walks are great, ideal for dogs and on your doorstep. The accommodation was perfect, very clean and tidy with all amenities, plenty of room for a couple and a dog. Thank you, we will be back.

We had a lovely night in the cabin, it was just what we needed. Quiet location, well equipped kitchen and the kids were super -excited by the TV in the bedroom and the swing outside!

We had a lovely stay. Colin & Lian were great hosts. The EcoPod was excellent (we liked it so much we’ve bought a smaller one for our garden), opening out into a large garden which backed onto open countryside. Our dog very much enjoyed playing with Gigi. Highly recommended.

Absolutely beautiful location and scenery, close to restaurants and activities, very helpful and friendly host!

Better and bigger than the description, this large beautiful garden annex is furnished with lovely antiques and excellent kitchen and bathroom. There is outside space, a warm welcome and walks from the door. If you need to be in this area or want a quiet few days away, definitely stay here.

Stayed in Frontis Lodge, one of a number of lovely looking new pods on the Waresley Estate. Frontis caught the evening sunshine which made for a great bbq spot. With the help of a wood fired Ofyr barbecue we were quickly able to cook a selection of meat and vegetables. We sat outside and, later, inside to enjoy the view and sunset. It looks like each pod has a similar view but it was good to be able to enjoy the view without either overlooking others or being overlooked. The pod has plenty of space for a couple with a large and effective walk in shower and a large comfortable bed. Will certainly stay here again when visiting Cambridge area.

Helens lodge is always clean and well stocked with all you could need, even milk upon arrival. Helen is really helpful with any requests or assistance required. Definitely recommend to anyone.

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights and it was exactly what we were looking for. Firstly, Sada was a great host with clear instructions and a very friendly approach. She communicated very well in terms of when we can check in and out and gave us local recommendations which was very nice. In terms of the place itself, it was very clean and as described on the listing. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was especially clean. It felt very private and the area was very peaceful. There are plenty of shops and restaurants all within a 5 minute drive. Sada was very flexible and accommodating and this made the stay even more pleasant. All in all, a wonderful host and a wonderful place - we would definitely stay here again!

Simon was very attentive and communicated very clearly throughout our stay. The Stables was spotless, cosy and just what we were looking for. It was the perfect little weekend away, we hope to return at some point in the near future.

The cabin was perfection. It felt so spacious and luxurious and the hosts had thought of every little detail. The setting is stunning too. We’d love to come back again.
