I was absolutely obsessed with Steph's loft! Loved the space. Bed was super comfy, had everything I needed to feel like I was at home. I was training from Lisbon to Porto, Santa Apolónia Train station was literally outside my door...yet I didn't hear one train in 3 days. Would highly recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat 💓

First, when entering the house, you are greeted with a large smile from Tio Dalton; he then gives you all the info your need on your stay. The second night, we had dinner at the Airbnb cooked entirely by him; he introduced us to his friends, who were all just as friendly. We had a delicious home-cooked Brazilian meal, easily comparable to that of a professional restaurant. One of his friends invited us to an art exhibition that he had been organizing and when we went, all of the friends made us feel so welcomed and showed us around. Tio Dalton let us keep our luggage at the airbnb on our last day to be picked u later, and he even went out of his way to quickly drive us to the bus to Porto when we were running late and got us there on time. You get to meet a man that welcomes you with open arms, not only into his house, but also into his community. Staying with Tio is a once in a lifetime type of opportunity. Wonderful stay for a solo traveler! I felt very safe and it was so close to many attractions, shops, restaurants, and nightlife. The bathrooms were always spotless and the room was perfect for what I needed. I highly recommend staying there!

It was only four days, but I felt like I was living as a local in Lisbon. It was as comfortable as staying in a friend’s home, in a spare room just for me. The high-quality amenities, the coffee and tea, and all the thoughtful touches throughout the space clearly showed Wilfried’s care for his guests. Every morning, I would sit in the kitchen, sipping tea while listening to birdsong. It was a peaceful and beautiful time. One evening, we visited a historic Fado restaurant that Wilfried had recommended, and we experienced one of the most unforgettable moments of our lives. Though the city was buzzing with noise, our home was quiet—set just slightly apart from the main stream of activity. I only wish I could have stayed longer than four days. I was fortunate to meet Wilfried, and through him, I was able to discover so many wonderful things. The unforgettable memories I made in Lisbon are all thanks to him.

I stayed here with my girlfriend for 5 nights. The hosts were very responsive, contacted us before our stay and gave us detailed information on check in. The apartment was well equipped and perfectly clean. The kitchen had everything we needed, bed was comfortable, although a modest size (for a couple) and the shower was great. Only thing to note is that the bathroom door does not lock. The washing machine and dishwasher are great additions, these made the stay feel like home and gave us flexibility. The apartment is on a busy street so there is some street noise, we could also hear the neighbours on occasion, it wasn’t too bad though and didn’t negatively impact our stay at all. The location was great, there is a bar downstairs where we enjoyed live music, the supermarket is a 2 minute walk, pharmacy about 5 minutes and a beautiful viewpoint is just up the hill, also about a 5 minute walk. We would stay here again, highly recommend this apartment.

I'm so glad I chose to stay at Christina's place! She was so helpful before my arrival as well as during my stay. Very clean, exactly as described, and matched the photos. The best part was staying at the top of the highest hill in Lisbon. I wanted an experience that felt local and not touresty. The restaurant recommendations were close by and locally owned. The neighborhood felt so relaxing and is beautiful. I was able to drop off my luggage early and go about exploring. I immediately felt at home and submerged myself in the local culture. Espresso and pastries at different shops within walking distance, picking up as needed items at the grocery shop right down the street, and easy access to public transportation although I chose to use Uber (very cheap compared to the States) and walk most places. I chatted with her several times during my stay about things I had done and how much I was enjoying my stay. She is so kind and just happy about sharing her city. I highly recommend 5 stars
