Absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful villa just a short taxi ride from Lisbon! The location was perfect—peaceful yet close to everything. The villa itself was spotless, stylish, and very comfortable. The surrounding area was lovely, and the hosts were incredibly accommodating and friendly. 10/10 – would definitely return and highly recommend!

Amazing place, all the rooms, kitchen and pool are spotless. Very clean, Carla was amazing with all the recommendations and hospitality. The pool was a perfect touch for Lisbon sunny days. Will stay here again.

The cottage was very cosy and homey. Comfortable beds, hot water and a good living space. The sofa is much bigger than it appears in the photo. There's no oven but there is a big fridge freezer, coffee machine, stove top and microwave. We cooked a few simple meals but largely ate out as there were lots of great choices in the area. The beach was within easy reach and we could access central Lisbon very quickly with an Uber. We had a great stay.

Had an Amazing stay! Near the beaches and 20 min from Lisbon!

We had a great stay with Gem & Gary. They are incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. The house is lovely and had everything we needed. It’s also just a few minutes walk from some amazing beaches.

One of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. The house is absolutely beautiful. It's spacious, full of character, and decorated with lovely rustic furniture and unique vintage touches that make it feel really special. It matches the pictures and description exactly, was well appointed and spotlessly clean. The views from the balconies and roof terrace are breathtaking, especially from the back of the house across the Tagus Estuary. Perfect for unwinding with a Sagres or two after a busy day around Lisbon. The host was wonderful: warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. Getting the ferry across to Lisbon is quick, easy, and very affordable, so it’s a great location for exploring the city while enjoying a quieter, more authentic neighbourhood. It's less than €2 and barely 10 mins over to the Cais Do Sodré ferry terminal. In addition, there are loads of great local cafés, bars, and restaurants just a short walk away too. Uma casa maravilhosa num lugar especial, muito obrigado por tudo!

We wanted to be able to visit Lisbon while being quiet and a little away from the tourist area... this was the case in Trafaria. We had a great time, our hosts were very attentive when we arrived (small touches, transport card, good addresses,...). They remained discreet (we tried to be discreet too...). We hope to return to enjoy the city but also the beach.

My friends and I had an amazing time in this beautiful house. The charm, calm and proximity to Lisbon allowed us to fully relax. Susana was very flexible on our arrival and was very available to us. Thank you so much!

An ideal place to be near Lisbon, the apartment meets all the conditions for a comfortable stay and has everything you need to spend a few days on vacation. We were very comfortable and the recommendations that Jociley gave us were very useful to get to Lisbon and get around the area.

Excellent stay, very clean and organized. Antônio is a great person, very helpful.. he has shown us several tours and sights.

We had a lovely 5 week stay here. The hosts were very responsive whenever we had a question and the location was truly perfect. The AC provides heating which is rare for Portugal but really handy if you are coming outside of summer. The pool is slightly heated. If working remotely you may find the seating a bit uncomfortable for prolonged periods of time though so maybe have a look at some of the local coworking spaces as well. If you have mobility difficulties I would also look elsewhere due to the narrow spiral staircase and low ceilings upstairs.
