House vacation rentals in Gonubie

We had a wonderful stay in the house, in spite of bad weather and closed beaches. Suburban area quiet with very little traffic.The garden was even bigger than we thought, as was theTV -screen and swimming pool. Lovely kitchen with lots of quality pots and pans. Two upstairs bedrooms extremely hot, aircons provided as a necessity. The house is close to the most delicious Spargs I have ever encountered. The curry place around the corner is also commendable. Bonza Bay beach close to the house is beautiful, but quite neglected and according to some (local)warnings, not so safe either. Nahoon beach on other side of river about a 15 min drive away. Warrick is an excellent host with great communication. One small thing - for a three week stay one would expect clean bedding every week- as it was we had to pay the (lovely)cleaning lady and she even started preparing the house for their return while we were hiring her. But this is a minor- thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. It is within walking distance a beach. Restaurants and shops close by too. It was a very peaceful area home which can't recommend highly enough and we generously well catered for by David his family.

We had an amazing time at Kerryn’s home. We felt so safe and couldn’t get over the stunning river view - managed to spot so many bird species from the balcony. The house had everything we needed and the pool was nice and sheltered when the wind picked up. I especially appreciated Kerryn’s excellent communication and willingness to help us move the beds around to suit our sick relative. Thanks so much for a special stay.

I couldn't rave more about the incredible place that Gotz has! Bertha is his secret weapon! She was top class as a hostess and made sure we had everything we needed. Very responsive and kind and courteous. The house was even better than the pictures, absolutely stunning, spacious, spotless clean and family friendly!

Our 2 families with kids had a wonderful stay at Warren and Jayde’s place - the house is beautiful, spacious and well equipped with amazing views. It was an added bonus to have Didi in every day to clean the house and even more so because she was so friendly! The house is in a very quiet and peaceful area and it was great to be able to walk to the beach whenever we wanted to. Speaking of the beach, it is really spectacular - idyllic, quiet and safe. The kids had hours of fun playing in the waves and exploring the rock pools. All in all, a special place and we will definitely be back!

Absolutely gorgeous beach house, enjoyed the open plan living and the easy flow to the pool area. The rooms were large and comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious and sparklingly clean. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect holiday home.

What a find! Marks place felt like home away from home. Spacious, clean, comfortable with sea views and so much to offer including DSTV which was a welcome surprise. Mark was a pleasure to deal with and responded quickly to my communications and added special touches like chocolates and a filtered water cooler and ice maker. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day stay and our only regret was not staying longer. We will be back!

We had a lovely stay. The house has everything you need. It is beautifully decorated. The area is very peaceful with just a few houses in the street. The Crossways centre is just about 10min away with a nice well stocked Spar, as well as some other shops. The nearest swimming beach is Yellow Sands which is a short drive away. There is a lot to do in the area.

Location is great in proximity to quieter part of East London and the wedding that we were attending. Clean unit with everything you need.

Veronica was an amazing host. I think she's just genuinely a good person so thst made her hosting even easier. She was patient, understanding and just kind. I was traveling from Joburg for my wedding and there's family that arrived the morning we checked out who needed a place to freshen up, and she was so understanding- and she didnt need to but she did. The place far exceeded our expectations. The rooms are huge! With great private space. The home was warm- it really felt like a home away from home. There is more tham 1 entertainment space and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, literally 5 minutes away from the beach. I wish I could have stayed longer there but this will definitely be the first place I think of next time I plan a trip to EL. Thank you Veronica, wishing you all the best. You are amazing and honest. I left my wedding ring there and you made sure I get it. There's so much more I could say, but just know that my "thank you" carries much more than those 2 words.

incredible gem of a house in a beautiful unspoilt part of south Africa. you have everything you need: only thing that detracted from perfection was losing water pressure during load electricity load shedding.

Kidd’s Beach is a jewel of peace with an outstanding beach. Stephen’s home and friendly support made enjoying the location complete. The house suited us 5 adults but it would work equally well for a family with children. We would recommend this home and resort to anyone wanting to enjoy the exceptional qualities of the Eastern Cape beaches

Great stay. The place is very clean and great value for money. The host Sibo very friendly, reachable at all times and always there to assist in everyway possible. Mamtshawe, the cleaner very friendly and willing to assist as well. My family enjoyed and we all felt at home away from home 🏡. Its ourhome again should we decide to do East London again.

We loved Amia place it felt like home, it was stunning looked exactly like the pictures, Amia was very helpful and responsive. She had recommendations on things to do around the area & eating places which helped. The house has everything you need for your stay & the outside has different areas you could sit and relax The location is amazing, walking distance to the beaches & theres a lot of thing’s to do around the area.

This accommodation was absolutely stunning. We walked in and were immediately impressed with how spacious, clean and well thought out it was. Four beautiful bedrooms, two with full en suite and two with a shared bathroom. Two living rooms, one of which is very geared towards kids. A stunning outdoor area and a beautiful, well equipped kitchen. We couldn’t have asked for more! Courtney & Bruce were very helpful and had a nice little guide with local recommendations which we happily used. It’s about 30min drive to the nearest Woolworths but there’s plenty to do nearby with nice beaches, pickleball in walking distance, and restaurants, golf, horse riding etc. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a nice, private accommodation that’s extremely kid friendly - we had two kids under 2. Courtney also kindly provided two camp cots and a high chair for the kids. Thanks guys for a great stay!

Nomhle’s place felt like home away from home. It’s a safe and spacious place with a lovely yard and it’s in an area that’s quiet and not far from the N2 highway and Hemmingways Mall amongst other places. The parking space was nice and big for about 5/6 cars and Nomhle herself is a kind and sweet host.

A little gem! The view is absolutely spectacular and the house had everything we needed. It was clean, comfortable and the hosts were wonderful, responsive and very helpful! This house was amazing, would definitely stay here again! There were people above us so we thought it might affect us when sitting on the deck but it didn’t bother us and we couldn’t hear them outside. The hosts were so accommodating and extremely quick to help, they gave us so many local tips! Haga Haga is a true gem. 10min walk to the beach 🏝️

My family and I originally booked for 6 nights but on the first day decided to extend it to 9 as we felt it was our home away from home! The house is equipped with everything you may need, excellent laundry facilities, amazing kitchen and dining area. The bedrooms were very neat and crisp linen enveloped every very cozy and comfortable bed in the house. There are more than enough bathrooms, so everyone has their own private facilities which is very nice when you have a large family or your extended family come to visit. We spent countless hours in the living room, which opens up to a large private garden area with a treelined bush, just watching the birdlife and the occasional few monkeys and we even spotted a buck and her baby once or twice. It was very relaxing, considering it rained a few days during our stay. The pool was amazing, very clean and the pool waterfall was very soothing to listen to and fun for the kids to play under. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!Thx Natalie
