Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Glencoe

We have stayed at Burnside several times. It is a large warm, comfortable house and has easy access for our elderly father. The large picture window makes the most of the beautiful loch view. This is a great place for walking on Skye, Applecross, Killin and nearby. The large front, well kept lawn is enclosed and was greatly appreciated by my dog! We had an amazing time and had almost perfect warm and sunny weather all week! We'll undoubtedly be back.

Paula’s place was just as described. Very nice, clean and the decor is beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the outdoor area as well. Highly recommend to anyone staying In the area.

We booked this house for a joint 70th birthday present to our parents and stayed with people aged between 1-70. It met all our needs well and the house is lovely and warm with good bathrooms, spacious kitchen and wonderful outdoor space.

We have had a great stay! It was nice to have a fully equipped and large kitchen and washing machine.

No. 9 Carrbridge was fantastic and Gillian was a exceptional host - I had friends visiting Scotland from abroad and they were so thankful to visit Carrbridge and the highlands of Scotland. Much Haggis and Whisky was devoured :D The cottage itself was very homely, warm and well decorated. Thanks again Gillian

Alice is a fantastic host. She responded quickly to the questions we had and offered recommendations for dinner. Our stay was short but her property made it easy. We were minutes away from multiple trails, delicious food, and looked forward to the comforts of home at the end of the day. Beautiful place! Great location!

A top class Airbnb from start to finish. Luxury finishes throughout and spotlessly clean. Andrew is very responsive to requests. Great location and walkable to everything you need during your stay. View from the kitchen and bedroom across the water is breathtaking. Parking is a bonus. We had a magic few days exploring the many river walks and mountains. It was our first time on Mull and we couldn't have wished for a better experience. Heather's apartment was perfect for us and made the visit so comfortable and convenient. We had no problems at all with the place, but her communication gave us confidence that if we had experienced any issues they would have been sorted out straight away.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Iona's apartment. Very spacious and had everything we needed. Less than 10 minute drive to Aviemore and on the doorstep of the Cairngorms where we spent most of our time!

The apartment was exactly as described , easy access , the apartment was clean with all the essentials . It was perfect for our family get together . Have recommended it to my family for future get togethers. Highly recommended if your are visiting the area . Many thanks Mandy

As a couple with a dog seeking a weekend break Dunollie at Balquhidder was perfect for us. Cosy and spotlessly clean, in a great location for walks and the excellent Mhor84 just down the road for a superb breakfast. A perfect break for us, thank you Alison and Hannah.

Kristin was a fantastic host - really understood our needs when travelling with our baby & toddler, super responsive and great at communicating. Our baby loved the high chair - "just" an ikea one with the tray, but so handy to have this! We'll likely be back next month and will be crossing our fingers Kirstin's place is available then!

Anne's place is absolutely gorgeous. the furnishings are comfortable, the location in perfect and the views are spectacular. Anne was helpful and friendly. The flat is far more beautiful in person. The pictures are accurate and yet still don't do it justice. I will definitely stay here again!

The Oberoi house was an OUTSTANDING place to stay on the Isle of Skye. Incredible views, cozy, spacious, easy walk to downtown Portree but just enough out of the bustle to be fully immersed in the beauty around you. The place was exactly as advertised - it was clean, in excellent condition, the instructions were clear, and the space was easy to share. There are excellent common areas for reconvening as a group, but the en suite bathrooms make staying as a group comfortable and private. could not recommend this place more highly, it was a dream!

A magical place to stay, especially with children! Has everything you need and more. Comfortable rooms, and a magnificent banqueting table in the kitchen for communal meals. The lounge is bigger than it looks in the photo and can comfortably seat everybody staying. Roberta was really helpful in the run up, answering various questions I had and giving useful suggestions. Many thanks. We hope to be back someday!

Marie was a great hostess and the house was amazing in great condition and very clean. The location is good and Marie assisted us with all the questions and had a full breakfast prepared for us.

We couldn’t have found anything better than this place for a group of 8 of us staying to hike Ben Nevis and explore the surrounding areas. It had everything we needed and was worth every penny. The location is very peaceful and out of the way with a stunning view of the mountains and only a 15 minute drive away from Fort William. We hope to come back at some point in the future and stay for longer to explore this side of Scotland some more. The hosts are very friendly and are very easy to communicate with regarding check in and any requests.

Fabulous house with loads of space to hang out and all bedrooms have private bathrooms. Excellent welcome pack and everything you could possibly need supplied. Highly recommend

Very nice house, a short walk to the waterfront but not too close to be in amongst the visitors. Quite and very handy for the Wester Ross walks and climbs. Safe garden that our dog could roam around freely. House was clean and well equipped. We had fabulous weather but it would also have worked in more traditional/wet weather with plenty of space for outdoor kit.

While we were not at the unit much (we were out sightseeing), it was a great place to come back to. There was plenty of space, photos are accurate, it was well maintained, clean and well equipped. Robin was always responsive with our questions within a short time. Great choice! We would stay again!
