Stunning two bedroom stable cottage Glanton Pyke

LesleyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A wonderful short break. The cottage is beautifully designed, with gorgeous furnishings and decor, and has everything you need, as well as being spotlessly clean. All the little details are lovely. The shower is amazing, the sofa very comfy, and the fire looked tempting but we didn't need it (sadly!), as the cosy underfloor heating kept us lovely and warm. The setting is peaceful, with a view of the private garden from the kitchen, and the walled garden is very special. We enjoyed trips to the lovely Northumberland coast, about a 30-40 minute drive away, as well as a walk from the door. This was one of the loveliest cottages we've ever stayed in, and we plan to return at some point.

Forge Cottage

The property was not the one we booked, but that didn’t matter at all and we were given notice of the change. It felt homely straight away and would be ideal for a family holiday. The location is very quiet and the property is very private. A great base for exploring the local area.

Alnwick Glamping Pods

An absolutely fantastic place - an amazing cabin in the most beautiful surroundings. Heidi was the perfect host - really welcoming and helpful. Everything within the cabin was immaculate and the finishing touches of the welcome basket and provisions were so appreciated. The hot tub and fire pit were also really fun and added to the already excellent overall experience. Thank you - we hope to be back.

Home from Home, Alnwick

WilliamRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at John’s flat in Alnwick. It was clean, quiet, comfortable, and well-equipped. John’s instructions on use of the house were extremely clear and thorough. Parking was very convenient and free. It was a very short walk to downtown Alnwick. I will add that out of the dozens of AirBnBs and other short term rental properties we have stayed at, this one ranks very close to the top. We will definitely seek it out during future visits to the Northumberland area.

Self Contained Rural Apartment, Pondicherry House

KateRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My sister and I had a fabulous few days at Pondicherry house. The weather was very kind to us which meant we could eat outside and watch the (many) birds and admire the view across the Coquet valley. We did some local walks and went to Warkworth castle, which gave some shade on a very hot day. Later on a storm came up; we were lucky to be off the beach by then and sheltered in the fantastic station bookshop in Alnwick. What a trip!

Gorgeous get-away for my partner’s birthday. We had a wonderful time. The hot tub was perfect and an all round fabulous place to stay. Lots of places a short drive away so location was ideal for us visiting Lindersfarne.

The Coach House

JeffRating, 5 stars1 month ago
After returning from our 2 week trip to England and Scotland I would have to say that our 7 days at Richard and Fiona's cottage were the highlight of the trip. From our warm welcome on arrival to the quick response to all our needs (Richard even dropped off some binoculars when we mentioned that we saw some wild hares in the field behind our rental), we were impressed with the service. I would hesitate to even call this a short term rental, it seemed more like a home to us while we were there. The location is a little slice of heaven! We had lazy mornings watching the wildlife out our backdoor, and quiet evenings watching the sunset. Between those hours we explored many castles and villages in the area and put in a lot of steps exploring the beautiful countryside. This was not our first trip to the area, and it won't be our last, but now we know we have a 'home' while we are there. Thank you Richard and Fiona!
