Vacation rentals with beach access in Gipuzkoa

Olga and Jorge’s home was an absolute delight. Perfectly located in the heart of Donostia, it’s beautifully decorated with thoughtful attention to detail throughout. The apartment is exceptionally well-equipped and generously stocked with amenities—Olga and Jorge have truly thought of everything to make their guests feel at home. Their warmth and hospitality were unmatched, and they provided us with many helpful tips and local insights. The use of their parking space was an added bonus and made exploring the area even easier. San Sebastián itself is incredible, and this home made our stay all the more memorable. We didn’t want to leave and hope to return someday. With San Martin Square just outside the door—featuring a supermarket, cafés, and great shopping—and the beach only steps away, the location couldn’t be better. One of the best Airbnb stays we’ve ever had.

Un apartamento de lujo con una ubicación y una vista inmejorable. Estas en la playa y con la vista del mar desde el apartamento. Todo perfecto, una atención impecable por parte de los anfitriones. Todo tipo de restaurantes y tiendas alrededor. Para recomendar a todo el mundo!!!!

En Airbnb hay anfitriones, super host y después está Álvaro. Pocas veces te encuentras con host que desde el primer contacto lo hace fácil, de manera alegre y proactivo. Nos ha sorprendido en todo momento con su amabilidad y capacidad para ofrecerte algo que necesitas sin saber todavía que lo quieres. Y además el piso es muy bonito, montado con todo lo que puedes necesitar. La cama es muy cómoda y garantiza un buen descanso. No importa el calor que haga que el piso siempre estará fresco. La ubicación es inmejorable. En verdad ha sido de mis mejores experiencias. Gracias Alvaro por un fin de semana inmejorable.

I know with today’s tech, you can communicate with host and never meet in person. Ana met us at the door, walked us through the apartment, showed us where everything was. She told us all her favorite restaurants, shopping haunts. Those personal touches make a difference. We loved the place. Of note there is only one bathroom which is clearly stated.

We had a perfect stay here! The apartment has plenty of space and has everything you need. It is in the ideal location for exploring and the building itself is very safe. Rosa and Joel are the perfect hosts! Joel gave us lots of local recommendations when we arrived, which was really helpful. Rosa replies very quickly and also very kindly helped us with any requests. Thank you very much for the birthday treat left for my boyfriend! And thank you for a lovely stay. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer!

Fantastic location and very spacious apartment. Had everything we needed for our stay in Donostia and the host was so easy to deal with and very friendly. We felt at home and loved the area it was located in. Easy walk to Gros, the old town, the beach and main bus station. Right in the shopping district with plenty of places to shop and eat. Easy to catch the local buses and also the regional buses to the towns of Getaria and Hondarribia. Would highly recommend.

We loved Carolina’s place. She was very helpful when we needed things and quick to respond. Her place was very clean and nicely decorated. Lovely balcony with view of the surfer’s beach. Walkable to anywhere we wanted to go. I would recommend Carolina’s place.

Joseba a été un excellent hôte. Très réactif et sympathique. Le logement était conforme et nous avons été très bien accueilli par sa sœur. Nous avons pu laisser nos bagages et profiter de la ville des notre arrivée. Le logement est bien situé avec une terrasse très agréable avec une belle vue, 2 belles chambres. Il y a tout ce qu’il faut. Très satisfait de notre séjour !

Beautiful home with high class style. Half block to the sea and walking path to city. Was a lovely place for a family as each room is on its own level so it gives adults some privacy from kids. Beautiful and elegant highly recommend.

El piso estaba fenomenal. No le faltaba ningún detalle. Muy buena ubicación, en el centro cerca del puerto y de la playa. Miren es una anfitriona encantadora. Nos ha dado referencias de sitios que visitar que nos han ayudado en nuestro viaje. Repetiremos, sin duda, si volvemos por la zona.

Hemos estado muy a gusto, piso cómodo y limpio, la calle de abajo con mucho ambiente, bares, restaurantes, heladería, parques para los peques... los niños se lo han pasado muy bien, Samuel atento y muy amable, así da gusto. Gracias por todo!!

We spent a week here. It was comfortable and well equipped for our family group, which included a toddler, baby and dog. The garden is ideal for both adults and children. The location was really good, within walking distance to both beach and San Pedro Street (where all restaurants are). Bus to San Sebastian from end of the Street was useful. The house was very clean and kitchen really well equipped. Communication with hosts was particularly good - they responded very quickly. I would be happy to return.

Wir hatten sehr schöne Urlaubstage in der Wohnung von Jorge. Sie ist sehr hell, schön und praktisch eingerichtet. Lage ist mega, ruhig und dennoch zentral zwischen Fußgängerzone und Strand. Check-in und check-out waren super einfach. Jorge antwortet immer sehr schnell. Ein defekter Ablauf im Badezimmer wurde in Rekordzeit repariert (abends Bescheid gegeben, morgens kam der Klempner). Falls die Hofeinfahrt für größere Fahrzeuge zu schmal sein sollte, gibt es genügend Parkplätze an der Straße.

We loved staying in Eneko’s place! It was in a lovely peaceful neighbourhood about 20-30 min walk to the old town. The apartment itself was super well equipped with everything we needed. Eneko also very kindly picked us up from the bus station when we arrived really late on a Friday night and gave us loads of recommendations for things to do in San Sébastien.

Wir wurden von Espe und Juan sehr freundlich begrüßt. Ach einer kurzen aber umfassender Einweisung konnte unser Urlaub beginnen. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich, ruhig gelegen. Innerhalb von 10 Minuten ist man zu Fuß am Strand, in 25 Minuten in der Altstadt. Allerdings gibt es viele Treppen zu bewältigen - v.a. auf dem Rückweg. Es gibt aber auch eine gute Busverbinding. Der Bus hält nur wenige Meter vom Haus. Nicht nur in der Altstadt, sondern auch im Kiez gibt es zahlreiche Pintxo-Bars... Check-In & Check-Out waren unproblematisch.

Excellent stay and highly recommend! Urko was extremely helpful and responsive. The location was beautiful and the view was outstanding. Easy walk to town and close to many restaurants. Beds were comfortable and everything was pristine.

Great place and we had a really great stay overall! Location is prime with great access to all that San Sebastián has to offer. Host was super helpful and responsive throughout our stay.

Helen kept us well informed of where to park and arrival instructions. We arrived later than expected due to car issues and she arranged for a lovely helpful friend to meet us. The apartment was immaculately clean and well equipped, with everything that you could need plus lots of extra touches. There was milk, Beer, water and soft drink in the fridge which was appreciated and plenty of tea/ coffee and condiments if needed. The apartment was spacious and everywhere smelt clean and inviting. I would not hesitate to recommend staying at Helens place

This is a fabulous place to stay. Four good bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, one with a spa bath and one with a shower. There is a very large lounge with comfortable sofas and a largeTV. There is a nice outdoor terrace and a very well stocked kitchen. Cristina clearly loves her home.

An excellent experience all around. The place was immaculate and the view was spectacular. Great communication. I highly recommend a stay here.

Fabulous location and beautiful home. Only 5 minute walk from the amazingly beautiful beach with great surfing opportunities, 2 minutes to a supermarket, less than 10 min to a train station for day trips to San Sebastian. My parents, 2 kids, brother, husband and I each had sufficient space in this roomy, lovely apartment. We cooked a lot in the kitchen. We felt like we were staying in a loved family home with great character. Maria is such a responsive and helpful host.

excellent location, clean and comfortable apartment with a nice terrace. appreciate having laundry soap, paper towels etc available so we didnt have to go out and buy these. expensive apt compared to other comparable apartments I have stayed at in France and Spain but my understanding is that San Sebastian is one of the most expensive locations in Sapin.
