It is situated on a small farm with cattle and sheep. Guests enjoy sightings of kangaroos, wombats, echidnas, kookaburras & native birds. Local activities include trout fishing, hiking, kayaking, mushrooming, truffle hunts, Waldara weddings, sightseeing in the Blue Mountains, Jenolan Caves, Kanangra Walls and Mayfield Garden. Located on the western side of the Blue Mountains and one hour from Katoomba. Conveniently located to explore the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area, the Kanangra Boyd National Park and Mayfield Gardens. We welcome you to our garden guest suite adjacent to Central Park, cozily situated at the back of the property; shaded by trees and hedges, with gardens and a small pond. Centennial Lodge Cottage is located at the foot of magnificent Blue Mountains escarpments in the Kanimbla Valley. It is surrounded by stunning farmland & abundant bird and wildlife. The original settlers cottage has been renovated & is rustic yet very comfortable. Just 15 minutes from Blackheath, (and only accessible from Blackheath) the cottage is totally self contained, with a wood stove and BBQ facilities. A unique rural escape for nature lovers.
