Wonderful stay at Joyce and Gus'. Will absolutely return. No photos could do the view and area justice. Joyce clearly loves the cottage and hosting- no detail is missed, everything set up for comfort and with homely touches. Beautiful to sit by the fire, on the deck, or wander down along the loch.

My husband and I loved staying at Rachael’s place. The location was so peaceful. The space was clean and cozy. We really enjoyed getting into the hot tub after a long day of exploring!! We’d definitely recommend staying here!

Coastal Cottage with Spectacular Views

Have just had a wonderful week in the Cottage in Melvich. The house was clean, comfortable and cosy and the welcome basket of goodies was amazing, very much appreciated. Great location on the north coast within easy reach of both John O’Groats and Durness. Melvich beach is stunning and almost literally on the doorstep. Sitting on the bench by the front door looking at the sea while enjoying a cup of tea was just the best start to every day! Very friendly helpful hosts. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at Linda’s cottage. The welcome package was so thoughtful, and we truly enjoyed our time there. The view from the cottage is stunning, and the walk to the beach idyllic. Would wholly recommend for a stay where you are looking to disconnect! Fires at night were cozy, and reading outside during the day. Thanks again for everything!

Great Holiday Home in the Heart of Brora

DaveRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Very comfortable well appointed cottage, nice back garden to sit and relax all local amenities within walking distance. Sid's across the road is an excellent Indian restaurant. Although on the main road we didn't find the noise a problem even though we were sleeping in the front bedroom. Would recommend if visiting the area and if we're in Brora again would certainly look to book in.

A large window offers a view of the serene harbor, with boats anchored and land seen in the distance. The clear blue sky reflects on the water, while nearby buildings and greenery create a peaceful coastal setting.
