ur stay in Trivida cannot be explained in a few words . It was magical , healing and full of warmth . From the time I connected with the host Meeta I knew there was something special about her and her place . I felt very welcomed and safe as I was booking a room in someone's home . The journey to reach Trivida was exciting and full of raw nature and meandering Alaknanda till Karn Prayag followed by Pindar till Tharali . The stops on the way were breathtakingly beautiful as well , mostly suggested by Meeta , the food at these places were also really good . The home is few steps up hill as already mentioned in the Information hence we packed lighter . There was a porter who lifted the luggage so it was not too much of a hassle . The home is extremely beautifully designed and warm with the most beautiful curated items . The first floor was given to us , with the private terrace . The view form the terrace and the windows were to die for . We have spent a huge amount of time in terra

This review does not do justice to our stay and experience at the writer's lodge and the main cottage. All amenities are available at the cottage. The cottage is located almost at the top of the mountain, and the view from here is spectacular. The greenery around and the silence of the mountains brings calmness and peace. The caretaker, Raju, and his helper Sourav were very courteous and helpful. Raju cooked delicious home cooked meals for us. The host Shalini was receptive and very co-operative. I had a very warm and comfortable stay. I'm so grateful to shalini for sharing her home with us. I'm extremely thankful to Raju for making us feel at home with his cooked meals.

We spent three nights at this beautiful space. The stay was absolutely comfortable with no interruptions. Food is delicious. We had the Kumaoni thali which was sincerely prepared and served with love. Our host, Sapna was very responsive and also clear at what is necessary. We even got recommendations on what we could buy which is local for back home. Waking up to the sunrise every morning and experiencing the different shades of the mountains from the room was peaceful and perfect. I am sure to return whenever I come next. Thank you ❤️

This is great stay in middle of nature! Going there can be bit of a challenge as you have to walk 300 meters downhill, but once you go there, you are greeted with amazing hosts - they are super friendly and very simple. The view is amazing, super pleasant super quiet, network is good, food is homely and its just amazing! Highly recommended

Had a wonderful stay at Ramashish’s place - the local staff cooked us heavenly food and made us feel welcome to the chalet. We enjoyed each evening watching the sunset against the beautiful mountains. The village nearby was quiet and walkable, we felt safe in the area and the gardens at the house were well taken care of and beautifully landscaped. Would definitely visit again in the future!

We spent 3 days including New Year's Eve at Aikkya. Their place is ideally located with great views, peace and quiet. Our room was simply yet beautifully decorated and was very clean. We liked the fact that their cottages are built with local building techniques, are sustainable and still have the modern amenities and comforts. We especially loved the common lounge/dining area with it's wood burning stove. It's the ideal place to chill, get to meet the other guests, eat and drink. Shivani and Avijeet go to great lengths to cater to the tastes of each of their guests, cooking different cuisines and offering variety. We had some delicious meals and got to taste an authentic Kumaoni spread. At the end of our stay, we left knowing that we will be back.

Shoonya is the place to be if you are looking to immerse yourself in nature and seeking peace and quite. Lot of small treks around if you are looking to stretch your legs. Mahima and RK are excellent and responsive hosts. Special mention to Girish jee is an excellent cook and cooked up amazing meals whether Kumaoni or otherwise. Overall an amazing experience. Love to visit again
