Vacation rentals with lake access in General Carerra / Buenos Aires Lake

We had a nice stay on our way to the Balmaceda airport. The host was very helpful with directions as we had a bit of a challenge coming in late and it being dark out. I would recommend this Airbnb!

This cabin is situated in a beautiful place! We had an amazing time in the surroundings!! Anibal fue fabuloso atendiéndonos!

This place is more remote / private than I realized but we loved it! Incredible views too and the space was just perfect for 2-3 people. Bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper though, the wind can be brutally loud at night.

We were very comfortable for our 2 night stay at Barbara’s shack. The wood combustion stove kept us snug. Plenty of wood provided. The kitchen was more than adequate - even a kettle, and bottled water supplied. It was easy to cook all of our meals. The shower had great hot water and there was a washing machine which we didn’t need to use. It quite rare to see one in accommodation in Patagonia. Bed was comfortable. Barbara was exceptional in answering our questions both before and during our stay. We had an adequate 3g signal for email etc. The shack is a bit ramshackled but remember that the rental is not very expensive.

Very nice place, the cabin is very clean and spacious, beautiful and cozy, fully equipped and José is a very good host, worried and friendly. 100% recommended. Also the place is too quiet but to rest and disconnect.

This is an amazing place. Barbara and her parents were a pleasure to deal with. They answered all our questions and were so helpful. The place itself is amazing with privacy and beautiful views. The lunch / dinner they offer is out of this world, an amazing experience, and a great deal. We stayed here with 6 adults and 2 children and would go back in a heart beat. If you are looking for a secluded paradise, this place is for you.

Marila was very nice and went out of her way with all our questions. The place is very clean, the beds cozy.

Sandra was really nice to us! He waited for us late to check in and had flexibility with breakfast schedules for tours. Excellent person and very good service from your hostel. Totally recommended!

A clean apartment, well located, ideal for 2 or 3 people. Not so comfortable to be with a child who is discovering as many outlets are within your reach. But everything is very comfortable. We didn't get cold which is important too. Totally recommended!

All good: beds comfortable, could cook, everything clean, internet worked well (however, the TV is not a smart TV). Supermarket very close. We were only there one night.

An amazing house in a wonderful location, everything was perfect. It has many more things than those listed in the ad in terms of kitchen equipment, the rooms are super spacious all with private bathroom. Really a luxury surrounded by nature and very close to the lake that makes it more wonderful, Matías was very attentive and friendly, and responded to everything quickly, we will definitely stay again !!!!

I felt welcomed into the family! Marecela the owner is an energetic woman with many interests from fishing to skiing, from horseback riding to kayaking. She is also a certified hiking operator and knows the mountains and glaciers of Patagonia very well. She helped me organize an expedition to the Campo de Hielo Norte and I had a great time: easy, responsive and always available communications. The house itself is perfect for relaxing, it has a patio with tables and chairs overlooking the mountains (the photos do not do justice to the objective beauty of the place!), access to the river is very easy, it has laundry, equipped kitchen and much more I will never forget Marcela and her House on the Rio, a magical place that I now feel a little like home.

This place is incredible. Surrounded by mountains and beautiful Lago Montreal. Italo was very responsive and helpful. It's remote, which was perfect for what we wanted.
