An hour's drive from Lillehammer, Viken Fjellgård is idyllically located by the lake Espedalsvatnet, where you can enjoy peace and quiet. Our guests can use our boat and canoe freely, or enjoy the jetty with swimming, fishing and fire pit. You can ride your bikes, go hiking right out of the farm, walk in the woods, or walk on the trails around the water. In late summer and autumn, you can pick mushrooms and berries. It takes 10 minutes to drive from the farm to the high mountains, and from the parking lot about an hour's walk to Langsua National Park.

Lots of hiking opportunities in both summer and winter right from the door. About 1 km skiing through the forest to the trail network to Skeikampen. The cabin sleeps 5, plus crib, equipped kitchen, heat pump, wood-burning stove and dishwasher and washing machine. Bed linen and towels incl. Must have 4x4 in winter. 15 min to city center and Skeikampen, 30 min to Lillehammer and 45 min to Hunderfossen.

The houses on the farm are primarily from the 1700s and 1800s. The farm is located on the sunny side in Østre Gausdal, with a great view of the village. Short distance to Skei and Lillehammer. Great for a couple that likes skiing since it's in the middle of Hafjell , Kvitfjell, and Skei. Hunderfossen Family Park , Øyer Play Park, Hafjell gondola lift is a great experience. In Fåvang you can see the ice cathedral, frozen waterfall. The road museum in islands has free entrance, where you can see many historical vehicles, etc. But most of all we have many nice nature experiences here in Gudbrandsdalen . Just park all the way up to the bedroom window . Trash to be placed in the gray can behind the cabin. Have a great vacation😉

The terrain is 800 - 900 meters above sea level. with a great view of Gudbrandsdalen and the surrounding areas. Driving distance from Oslo is 210 kilometers / 2h 25m / from the airport about 2 hours In winter, you can go straight out on ski slopes that are connected to an extensive trail network.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. A new and very homely cabin with some of the best views at Skeikampen. In winter time you have direct access to the cross country ski track directly from the porch. An excellent location for some moutain peace and quiet with beautiful hiking and cross-country conditions. Also includes a small sauna, cabin office possibilities, nice dinners and outside evening on the decking around the cabin. Plenty of parking space also.

Cabin for an active holiday in the mountains

At Fagerhøy you can have an active holiday in beautiful nature 999 meters above sea level. The cabin is located right by Peer Gyntvegen north of Lillehammer between Skeikampen, Kvitfjell and Gålå. There is a well-developed network of paths in the summer for walking and cycling and skiing in the winter. During the holiday periods, it is usually possible to rent canoes, bikes or skis at Fagerhøy, Gudbrandsdal camp school, which is located approx. 400 meters away from the cabin.
