LakeView Suite with HotTub & Balcony @clifflakepkr

DavidRating, 5 stars20 months ago
I stayed here a month. my 5 star rating is not reflective of what I actually think, I don't think a 5 star rating system is worthwhile. The pictures are accurate, the room is right on the lake. There is a lot of noise though. even the hotel on the right ("bluetooth device waiting to pair" "bluetooth connected"from a chinese knockoff speaker at 50 decibels 5 times a day). and from the restaurant to the left, the musician plays Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication every day of every weekend without fail. only song he knows. The restaurant is OK even if they can't make half the stuff on the menu. But it is good value if you're just trying to eat and don't need a culinary adventure. Overall I think it is worth a 1 or 2 week stay at most. Also great view of the lake from the top of the restaurant. If you come to Nepal expecting Thailand level attention to detail in hospitality or even Cambodian level, you wont get it. Not sure why. Chaotic place, people just do whatever.
The image features a serene coastline with gentle waves lapping at the shore, complemented by a logo that incorporates a chef's hat, a covered dish, and a glass of wine. Palm tree imagery is also present, promoting a relaxed dining atmosphere by the water.

2 mins walk to Lakeside, very friendly people, always there to help me with all requests/questions i had, great food (fish curry), peaceful, great wifi, beautiful lakeview, nice hot shower, and the list goes on. I felt like I am staying at my brothers’ home. Lovely people. I am definitely going to stay here in my next visit to Pokhara. Highly recommended! Also, iIf you work online/digital nomad, this place is for you. I worked most of my days here from my room/rooftop restaurant with the amazing Phewa lakeview. Peaceful and productive than working from the coworking places in Pokhara.

Shanta Ghar -Eco Home Stay

BlayreRating, 5 stars65 months ago
We had a fantastic time at this homestay. Getting there was a little tricky because the house wasn't located where the airbnb map said it would be. We were able to work this out because our taxi driver called Ramakanta for location details, but I would recommend confirming location while you still have wifi or just having Ramakanta pick you up. The house was architecturally stunning, beautifully decorated, and relaxing. We had the best afternoon naps. Ramakanta and his wife were wonderful hosts, constantly making us feel welcomed and making sure we were fed. Ramakanta is someone who is proud of his family and his village. The feeling of positivity was infectious throughout the whole stay. I definitely recommend this location if you are looking to escape the tourist heavy areas and understand Nepali farm life (but while being catered to and with hot showers). Our jungle walks with Ramakanta were the highlight of our whole trip. I personally was looking for a way to experience Chitwan without contributing to any unethical treatment of animals. Ramakanta offered us real and raw exposure to Chitwan. Overall fantastic stay and a perfect addition to our otherwise "on the grid" Nepal vacation.
A shaded seating area with a curved stone wall overlooks the river and surrounding hills. Guests are gathered, enjoying the natural beauty. Vibrant green foliage frames the scene, with mountains rising in the background and the serene Ganges flowing below.

Samiras Birds Butterflies Park Ganga Beach Retreat

This is Glamping in an environmentally responsible fashion. For all of us who want to stay in an unspoiled Ganges retreat, and see, without culturally distorting and damaging what we have come to enjoy and interact with, this place can't be beat. You get to stay right on the shores of the Ganges and eat the most amazing food while taking in the nature around you. Before our journey communication with the host was especially important given the some what remote location. Inder Jit, our host, made arrangements for us to visit near by sites and transport to and from the airport and supplied the most amazing 3 meals a day. We were in want of nothing. Inder Jit is a wealth of information about the area as well as many other parts of India and is a great story teller. If you want to stay in the Rishikesh area I can't imagine finding a better fit then this. It was fabulous!
The logo of Cliff Lake Hotel, Café and Bar is prominently displayed against a serene sky and ocean backdrop. The design features a palm tree, a chef's hat, a food cover, and dining utensils, symbolizing the hospitality and culinary offerings of the establishment.

Lake View None Balcony Room Beside Nature

AhanaRating, 5 stars17 months ago
Bang on for the money, we ended up extending our stay twice. It’s very close to the lake side yet far enough to be away from the noise for you to enjoy the surrounding. We wanted an AC room but due to some confusion got the non AC but thank god we did, firstly it was very comfortable, secondly the view. Really really great view of the lake, you won’t feel like leaving the room since the food is also really great and comparatively affordable. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They photos don’t justify the experience. I’m definitely coming back again.
