Cheerful place to stay in converted barn

Sure, it is possible to combine fresh and comfortable accommodation with rural idyll, close to gardens, forest and lake! In 2022, we embarked on an exciting project to transform the barn on my grandfather's parent farm into a luxury leisure home. In May 2023 we finished the one apartment and in the autumn the other. The possibilities are many: enjoy the tranquility of forest walks, by the lake or on the patio in the evening sun and combine with excursions in the surrounding area and southern Sweden. Loading the car is included in the price.

Lilla Trulsabo features a full kitchen with a dishwasher as well as a living room with a TV, fireplace, and couch. The cabin has two bathrooms with a shower. In the large garden there is a furnished terrace and barbecue possibilities. As a guest you have free access to a rowboat and life jackets. We have been welcoming guests since Sep 3, 2012.

Here the noise level is quiet, it smells of forest and the air is clean. If you're looking for a place to unwind, you've found the right place. The house is built of wood from the same forest as the house stands in and the insulation is shavings from the floors and walls. For us, it's organic and local important to take care of.

This property has been lovingly restored and is now a super cozy and comfortable stay for two (we do not accomodate children under the age 15). Beautiful log walls, a comfortable king-size bed, a small kitchen and a spacious bathroom. Sneak away to this lovely 19th century cottage in the middle of the forest! Peaceful surroundings and a 40 minutes drive to Store Mosse National park, an amazing area for hiking.

Newly renovated cottage of 80 square meters that recently underwent a complete renovation. It sleeps up to 7 people, with beds in 3 bedrooms + as well as a sofa bed with two sleeping places. The cottage is located by a lake with its own jetty and wood fired sauna (wood included) as well as a barbecue area to enjoy outdoor meals. The cottage has a patio at the front, a large balcony and a terrace where you can hang out, eat and sunbathe. Located about 15 minutes from Isaberg Mountain Resort.

The house is beautiful. It’s the perfect place by a big lake and in a very quiet area. If you are looking for a calm and relaxing place for a holiday, there is no better spot. A supermarket is just 10 minutes away by car, and you can find everything you need for your stay. Alfred was always available, gave us tips about the area, and is very friendly. This Airbnb is highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay. Ane welcomed us at her nicely decorated farm. The cabins, the kitchen and the bathroom were super clean, totally equipped and in a very good shape. And Ane and her husband are simply five star hosts that care about the wellbeing of their guests.
