can't fault the host or their property. immaculately presented, very large rooms, well stocked with basics, beautifully decorated and nicely located. very responsive hosts that go above and beyond, we have stayed In any Airbnb properties but this is easily the best property so far. we will definitely be staying again when Barmouth is on our visit list.

because I arrived after 6 the roads were easy to park on. Then it was a short walk behind the high street and up the alleyway (which was a little dark! thank goodness for phone torches) once I got to the door I had a little panic at how low the door was and hoping that inside wasn't the same height! luckily once inside the place was amazing for just me! plenty of places to relax, lots of space to cook, spacey bathroom and a very comfy bed! communication with the host was great, had a couple of questions about parking which he's probably had thousands of times but still polite and friendly enough to treat me like it was his first time. Overall would use again when visiting the family!

All ages of the family really enjoyed our stay at Stone Cottage. Lovely location with views of mountains and sea close-by too. Kids loved the bedroom upstairs and visits from the friendly cats. Cottage is well presented with friendly and helpful owner. We will be back!

I can’t express how much we have loved our stay here. The views are out of this world and Andrew has been the most wonderful host. We’ll never forgot the sunset experience washed down with crisp white wine and some delicious, local cheese. We stayed here with family, ranging from 2yrs old to adults and it suited us all perfectly. I honestly can’t speak highly enough of this exquisite property; we were all sad to leave but will definitely book it again. Thank you for the memories, Andrew.

We had such a wonderful stay! It was so lovely to have a base for a few days in Barmouth! Able to call to the beach in minutes. Such a lovely place, the setting is amazing! What a treat to have breakfast looking out on the harbour each morning! The apartment was well equipped and the apartment was clean and comfortable! We ate out at a few local restaurants, enjoyed some walks and plenty of beach times and took a trip To Fairbourne via train and then back via the little ferry! (Just make sure you check the times!) What a fantastic break-we were sad to leave! We hope to come back again.

We absolutely loved staying in the lodge. Easy to find, with a relaxed restful vibe. Easy walks to beach and Fairbourne, and much to do in Fairbourne. Excellent train service meant we never used the car during our stay. Lovely host, quick to answer queries, supplied bags of local knowledge and information. We had a beautiful time, staying at Y Popty Cottage. The cottage was clean, private from the main road, super homely, and smelt lovely on entry. The multiple gardens were a wonderful addition, but the main "field" turned into a starry world at night. (My partner even got to see his first shooting star for his 34th birthday.) The locals were super friendly and were more than happy to give good suggestions of the surrounding villages and local areas. We enjoyed our stay so much we stayed an extra night. We are both beyond happy with our stay and would definitely say it exceeded our expectations, I would and will highly recommend Pentre Bach Cottages. We would also like to come back to visit again ourselves.
