“We came for a long weekend in January and were not disappointed! The Scriptorium was chic and comfortably furnished. We loved all the original features. The apartment was just a little skip away from the pool in the chapel. The pool was lovely and warm, quiet and super clean. Lovely view from in the pool too. The grounds and surroundings alone were stunning, so we took a Loch Ness cruise while the weather was good to take it all in, which we picked up from just outside the grounds. We had great communication and a really helpful welcome and tour. There was info on the history of the abbey and ideas of what to do locally in the apartment. Would highly recommend a stay at the Scriptorium without hesitation and would love to go again!”

“Totally recommend Lesley Ann’s cottage. She was so kind and checked we had arrived safely and left us milk with tea and coffee and various other kitchen things. There was a plentiful supply of logs for the amazing fire in the livingroom. We managed to sit outside and catch some Autumn sun in the garden too! It was perfectly situated for wonderful forest walks, boat down the Loch and delicious food at the local Lovat Hotel. The shop was a 5 minute walk and had all you could need. We just loved it so much and didn’t want to come home! Thank you LesleyAnn for your kindness and hospitality xxx”

“I would absolutely recommend the Lock Chambers if looking for a base to stay in the Loch Ness area. It's so handy having key pad entry and as it's just the room you're paying for, you aren't tied to breakfast times. The cafe downstairs does food and drink if you need and the Lock Chambers were lovely & generous with the tea and coffee in the room. Our room (Loch Ness) overlooked the canal which was beautiful. There's parking nearby too. It's great being able to take your dog at only £10 extra, though I didn't read the description well enough which clearly states there are steep stairs and sadly our old dog couldn't manage these. I would highly recommend a stay here - brilliant!”
