The couple were so lovely I felt very comfortable and secure staying here as a solo traveller. It was fairly easy to get into Amsterdam using public transport and still a fraction of the price you would have paid in central Amsterdam. I would definitely recommend to stay here and if I’m in the Netherlands again I would go back :)

Environnement très agréable, très jolie maison, dans un joli quartier au calme, à proximité de la gare (environ 15mn en voiture). Clair est très accueillante, agréable, présente, disponible mais pas intrusive. Très bonne expérience, nous la recommandons vivement. Merci pour tout.

Wir waren mit der Unterkunft von Gerrie sehr zufrieden. Wir durften die Küche mitbenutzen und morgens hat Garrie ein wunderbares Frühstück gezaubert. Die Kinder konnten draußen auf dem Trampolin spielen. vielen Dank für die tolle Nacht und wir kommen wieder. Liebe Grüße Familie Göttelmann aus Koblenz. ;-)

Beautifull house, stylist and clean. Maurice is nice person, every day he prepare for bfast. Our b'fast feels like we stay at suite room at the hotel and the bed so comfy. Twice transit from Amsterdam to this house (this route cover by regional amsterdam pass train, recommend pass if you are tourist ). This place 10 mnt from station and supermarket by walk, and bus station in front this house. Thank you Maurice.

Anfitriones muy amables. Buen desayuno y baño limpio. Tienen 5 gatos adorables que no molestan pero cuyo sanitario está en la cocina por lo que se siente olor. El precio nos pareció alto para ser una habitación con baño compartido.

We stayed at Harold’s house for two nights. He is a nice person that receive me and my girlfriend like as a member of the family. I can advise this place for easygoing people, travelers, backpackers that want share experiences. The house is clean and all the amenities was fine. Train to Amsterdam takes 37 min if u get a correct one!

Wat een geweldige locatie. Mijn zoon en ik wilde een rustig weekend samen. Overdag gewandeld in het bos en de zandvlakte die gelijk aan de tuin grenzen. S’avonds buiten gezeten bij de houtkachel en de bbq Steven is een geweldige host.

Greatly enjoyed staying at Nancy’s place. Unfortunately when we stayed in Bussum, the train to Amsterdam had maintenance so we had to take a train with two or three stops making it an hour train ride instead of 15 minutes, which wasn’t expected, but the place was so great and Nancy was so accommodating and communicative. Such a nice place to stay! We also enjoyed how parking was right outside of the building, making it easy to go back and forth if needed. And literally was a few minutes walk to a drug store and grocery store, so all in all, loved where we stayed and it was great for me and my family with a toddler.

We had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful place during our trip to the Netherlands. Renate and her husband were incredibly kind and welcoming. We enjoyed some lovely conversations over breakfast, which made our stay even more special. They have a sweet and attentive dog, and two shy cats that you might spot occasionally. I would love to visit this place again someday. Huizen is a charming and peaceful town, and it's easily accessible with the Amsterdam Regional Travel Ticket. Thank you, Renate, for the wonderful stay!

Wat een fijne, groene, rustige plek! Aardige, behulpzame mensen. Heerlijk ontbijt en allerlei kleine details waaraan gedacht was. Mochten we ooit weer een overnachtingsplek in deze buurt nodig hebben, dan komen we zéker terug! :-)

Keurige accommodatie. Alles van goede kwaliteit, ook het bed. Netjes.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Bianca, c'est une hôte charmante, attentionnée tout en restant discrète. Elle nous a montré sa ferme, nous a parlé de son activité et présenté ses animaux (canards, chevaux, mouton, chien, chat, alpacas, nous avons pu en caresser un), elle répondait gentiment à toutes nos questions les concernant, c'était intéressant. Le logement correspondait bien aux photos et descriptions, cosy, propre, spacieux, le lit était très grand et confortable, doté d'une jolie housse de couette remplie de laine d'alpaca, nous avons très bien dormi! Le lieu est paisible, calme la nuit. Le petit déjeuner savoureux, préparé avec amour et gentillesse (nous étions deux personnes sans gluten et elle nous a apporté une panière contenant plusieurs sortes de petits pains sans gluten frais et exquis), offrait beaucoup de produits faits maison, il était copieux et délicieux! Nous nous sommes régalés! Bianca est vraiment une hôte exceptionnelle, tout a été parfait chez elle!

Wij hebben een comfortabel nachtje doorgebracht in Uddel, en een gezellig ontbijt volgde! De kamer heeft alles wat je nodig hebt, Wim en zijn vrouw zijn heel gastvrij en de omgeving is echt prachtig!

Bei Sonja waren wir bereits zum zweiten Mal Gäste und haben uns sofort wieder zuhause gefühlt. Sonja ist eine wunderbare und herzliche Gastgeberin. Das merkt man auch an dem herrlichen Frühstück, dass sie jeden Tag voller Liebe und abwechslungsreich zubereitet. Unbedingt zu empfehlen. Wir freuen uns jetzt schon auf unser nächsten Aufenthalt bei Sonja.

Irmi was a very kind and welcoming host, and we felt right at home upon entering. She was very communicative and helpful throughout our stay and gave us many tips for buying public transportation tickets. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and safe.

Het mag duidelijk zijn dat dit een erg bijzondere plek is. Ook als je slechts één nachtje blijft, heb je echt het gevoel dat je helemaal op vakantie bent. René zorgt uitstekend voor zijn gasten, en ontbijten in de kerkzaal is een bijzonder leuke ervaring.
