20min train to Edinburgh ~ The Coorie Inn

RogerRating, 5 stars1 day ago
This is a great location for exploring Edinburgh, a short train ride away, and the beautiful Fife coast. Also a convenient place to stay if you’re cruising from Rosyth. Lots of history, including in Inverkeithing itself, a small historic market town - look for the history signboards around town, or ask the friendly folk at the Civic Centre. Well worth a walk around. The flat is comfortable, with a good size kitchen which has everything we needed to cook for ourselves. Nice modern bathroom.

If I could give 7 stars, I absolutely would! This was far beyond a typical Airbnb stay it felt like being welcomed into the home of a caring brother and sister. The comfort was 100%, the cleanliness was 100%, and the hospitality was simply on another level. Not only was the place spotless and cozy, but the hosts had an incredible sense of humor and warmth that made the entire experience unforgettable. They went above and beyond in ways I never expected including dropping me off at the bus station to make sure I didn’t miss my trip. That kind of thoughtful gesture truly says it all. This is not just a stay, it’s a memory. I can totally assure anyone considering this place book it without hesitation. 100% recommended, with complete confidence!

Comfy, quiet double room on scenic coastal route

I felt better at their home than I do at my own. They welcomed me warmly and we had a lovely conversation. All shared items were of high quality. Reaching Edinburgh was also quite easy, I chose to travel by bus. I feel lucky to have met them. I can honestly say it was the nicest home I’ve stayed in so far

Cosy & comfy room with double bed private en suite

Fabulous stay. Private, comfortable, quiet, with everything you need. Easy walk to bus to Edinbourgh. The best part is the host. So attentive and helpful. Trudi goes out of her way to see to her guest's happiness and is truly interested in knowing you without being intrusive at all. She and her husband provided rides to and from the train, and special snacks and breakfast food to accommodate me. Very thoughtful and kind. Such a pleasure to stay with them.

Single bed in beautiful cottage in rural setting

AmyRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Omy, I had such an amazing time in Susan and her family home. It was my first solo trip, super exciting but also a bit scary! But right from the start, when i walked through the front door It fell as home. The home is just so beautiful, cosy and homey. Susan and her family made sure I was feeling at easy when i first arrived. They were out for a lovely birthday, but she made sure that i could find everything with ease (she hung post-its up for me!). When I got back from a day out, she made a cup of tea for me and listen to all the stories I had to tell (and i talk a lot haha!). I really can't wait to stay at their house again! Just thinking about eating my breakfast in front of the open doors and the garden, makes my heart full with warmth. Don't second guess for staying with Susan. You will feel the main character in your own The Holiday movie ;) Susan thank you again so much. With Love, Amy

Large spacious bright double room - females only

An incredible place to stay! Room is spacious, clean, comfortable and feels private. Bathroom & kitchen were also pristinely clean and well tended to. Sally was so kind and welcoming, allowing me to check in a bit early. I also accidentally got the check out time wrong and she kindly forgave my mistake and allowed me to check out later. She is a very lovely host with a warm heart. 40min walk to city centre, or close to many buses that go there. Highly recommend staying here if you can!
A spacious outdoor terrace features modern seating arrangements with neutral cushions, accompanied by a wooden coffee table. Scenic views of the coastline and lush green fields are visible in the background, inviting relaxation and enjoyment of the surroundings.

Seaside Place, Aberdour

HelenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved our stay at Anne’s Airbnb. From the photos we were expecting quite a modern finish inside - but the sitting room has lots of character with absolutely spectacular windows looking out across across the bay, whereas the upstairs space is a bit more cottagey and maybe less immaculate but also has views to die for. No doubt the views are the best bit about this Airbnb, but it’s also super comfortable- really lovely bedding, lots of fluffy towels, comfy sofas, and all sorts of useful touches like a well equipped kitchen, plenty of hanging hooks, and a clothes horse. Aberdour is a very cute spot whilst nearby Dalgety Bay has any type of useful shops you might need. Edinburgh a super easy train ride away also. Would happily return if ever in the area again.
