Absolutely stunning tranquil and peaceful haven in the middle of nowhere 🌲 just what we wanted. We wish that we could have stayed for longer. Our dogs absolutely loved it - plenty of beautiful walks nearby and you can walk for miles from the cottage. They even provided doggy towels for muddy paws and the downstairs bathroom is a massive bonus 🐾 The cottage had everything we needed, we loved all the small touches throughout the cottage and we felt so at home here and Maria & Mike were on hand straight away if needed. My only “negatives” would be the sofa bed in the living room is a little hard and isn’t very comfortable for cuddling up on and it would benefit from a foot stool as my partner is 6’3 so he likes to put his feet up ! The tv is also a little bit on the small side (we like to watch movies in the evening) but this is our preference however it is perfectly adequate for what it is. We will definitely be back!

Very lovely hosts, brilliant location, very clean, quiet and nicely decorated. Me and my partner had a really lovely time here.

We had the most lovely stay at the barn. We felt right at home, and it was the perfect base for our trip. Dotty and Spicy (the farm cats) were a particular delight! We enjoyed daily cuddles with them! The barn is comfortable, clean, and well equipped. Rhian is so thoughtful and responsive. We definitely stay again if we're back in the area!

My stay at Chris home was fantastic —clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring the places. we had a great time.

We had the most magnificent stay at Carolyn’s beautiful barn. Everything was immaculate. She was a phenomenal host that went above and beyond for us. We had excellent breakfasts every morning and felt at home. It was an outstanding retreat!

Had an absolutely lovely stay here. Really lovely place, just perfect. The cottage was spotless when I arrived and it had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Stayed for two nights at Mark & Sarah’s to celebrate my partners Birthday! The cabin was absolutely beautiful & so cosy! We had such a warm welcome, & Sarah helped us to get settled in. The book was so helpful too- it gave great ideas & recommendations on local pubs/ walks / things to do. We did one of the recommended walks which was lovely. Went to a pub that was recommend prior to our stay, & was dog friendly (+ food amazing) (railway) & then topped it off with a Chinese from their recommendations too! Their dog Luna also paid us a visit & got on swimmingly with our dog- she is so cute & friendly- we’ll be sure to come back especially for her 😂🥰! The hot-tub was set up in privacy & the perfect temperature when we got in, perfect for star gazing! The surrounding immediate area was safe & secure so our lab couldn’t get out anywhere so that gave us peace of mind! The cabin was squeaky clean & yet very cosy, we felt right at home quickly! Thank you both so much! We’ll be back 100%

We’ve returned after first coming here in 2018 and it’s as perfect as ever! Beautiful surroundings, cosy cabin with all the amenities you could need. The log fire is great and they give you plenty of logs to keep you going throughout your stay! Perfect- we will definitely be back again!
