The complex of cabins located in Chilecito (La Rioja) takes the name of Balcón de Famatina because of its view and orientation towards the massif with eternal snows and an altitude of 6100 where the towers of the longest cable car in the world are supported, whose last station (the ninth) is the La Mejicana mine where gold and other minerals were extracted back in 1905 and until 1926. Fully equipped cabins with capacity for 1 to 5 guests, two floors with very comfortable rooms.

Each cabin in our complex has a type of decoration in which we seek simplicity and cleanliness to make each environment as welcoming and comfortable as possible. The complex has a park that we are proud of when seeing as a grass bed covers several square meters, harmonizes with the architecture of the units and provides an ideal rest environment. From the beginning, our priorities as a company are to provide comfort and safety in the rest of our guests.

Enjoy the simplicity of this quiet and central accommodation. The accommodation consists of a bedroom with a double bed but if necessary you can add another one from a square if necessary. There is A/C and a ceiling fan. There is an equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower and hot water, WiFi and parking. You will be able to walk to the center in 15 minutes and by vehicle in 3 minutes. In the center you will find all kinds of services.

It is laid out by its friendly owners and is located only 20 blocks from downtown Chilecito, giving guests peace of mind and quick access to tourist attractions. Built on one floor and without stairs so it gives easy access to the elderly/with different disabilities and children.

Located on Route 40 and the south access of the city. Relax with the whole family in this quiet place.

A wonderful, quiet place, surrounded by vineyards, with plenty of space. Breakfast with homemade jams. Meliton is a perfect host, super friendly, very hospitable and very interesting to talk to him about many topics: culture, history, things to visit, healthy food, etc. We would have liked to stay a few more days, but it was not possible!

Franco’s cabins are beautifully located right next to the yellow river. The accommodation was exactly like on the photos and as the description. Franco provided great recommendations for things to see and do and where to buy the best meat in town, so we could make a great Asado. The place is really quiet. We very much enjoyed our stay.
