This was the most idyllic cottage we could have imagined for our New Years stay. David recommended the best local pub for us to enjoy a traditional Irish new years and it made our trip so great. He was so friendly and welcoming and let us pet the horses. He had lots of history and insight to offer and this place is perfect for any country Irish holiday dreams!

Lovely accommodation in beautiful West Cork. really good restoration and conversion of two old dwellings. Kevin was easy to communicate with, providing prompt informative responses. We stayed in March when few places were open. Sugarloaf cafe worth a visit. And Garnish is a good day out. Had lovely weather, so enjoyed walking in the area around the cottage. Happy to recommend.

Encore merci Des !

The Thatched Cottage on The Wild Atlantic Way

AngelaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had a great time staying in the thatched cottage. It was so cosy and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay for over a week. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. The garden is lovely and was the perfect place to enjoy the nice weather and for the dog to run around. It is in a great location for exploring Kerry, making day trips to Dingle and the Ring of Kerry very easy. There are a few nearby restaurants that have very nice food. Overall, I would definitely recommend a stay in the thatched cottage.

We really enjoyed our month-long stay at Jerry's place. The kitchen is well equipped and Jerry and his wife were always helpful, friendly, and quick to respond. The host provided enough dish soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper and even firewood to last our entire stay. The house is in a very quiet and peaceful location in the countryside but still central for exploring both Kerry and Cork counties (having a car is a must).

Dingle Peninsula living

Perfect. Fiona and Padraig were amazing - they greeted us when we arrived and gave us a quick tour, but also were sure to give us our space. Their two sweet dogs, Elsa and Osgar, were friendly and welcoming too! They had milk, butter, eggs, and even a pie waiting for us! We could walk down the lane from the cottage to the shoreline in only a few minutes. I cannot recommend staying with them enough.
