Chalet vacation rentals in Extremadura

Antonio and Manuel came to greet us at a meeting point in the area, since the house itself in not easily found. What a warm welcome by these two kind men! They showed us the whole house and were open to questions all the time. Helped us find a nice place to eat. The house is in the hills surrounding Cordoba, a very nice scenery and view from the house and adjacent private pool. The ride to Cordoba is short - we used the free parking on the southside of the river (20 minutes from the house) to walk to the old town in about 10 minutes. The house itself is spacious and warmly decorated. We loved the pool and outside area, where we could use the bbq facilities. All in all a very positive experience. Beautiful, homely and relaxing. We instantly felt at home on arrival. Easy to find, good access, peaceful and walking distance to a lovely restaurant by the river. Great area to go on walks with the dog, without having to get in the car. Plenty of logs supplied for the open fireplace in the lounge. The house is well equipped, bright and clean. The host very helpful. Beautiful location for peace and quiet and about 20 minutes drive into the centre of Cordoba. We will be back.

The house and pool were excellent, ideally located for accessing the town and for exploring more of the local area either on foot or in the car. The house was very clean and well equipped. Luis Manuel was a perfect host and we were very grateful to be offered alternative accommodation after the original property was affected by flood damage.

Araceli is a great host. He has been looking out for us at all times. The accommodation is just outside the village in a quiet chalet area, 5 minutes drive from La Adrada. The place was clean and tidy, complying with what appears in the description. Inconevniente, out of the 6 guests only one had coverage (it's a general thing in the area) although we could be in touch via the WiFi available in the house. Aspect to improve, in relation to the cot, it does not have a mattress, only the base that gives firmness to the fabric of it, being difficult to sleep there given the hardness of the surface. There a child can't/should sleep. Everything else was fine.

Everything is great! The house is spectacular and we were able to fit everyone. In principle there were 14 of us and we ended up being 19. They adapted smoothly to the change.

The house was in perfect condition for a weekend. The directions and recommendations that were given to us we really appreciated it. We were also able to check out a little later than the scheduled time, which we wanted to highlight favorably. Otherwise, everything was perfect, they had a detail with us and that's what makes the difference. Without a doubt, if we return to Monesterio, this will be our site. My family and I thank Eva for all the management and quick response time.

Both myself and my friends have gone out enchanted from Casa Balta 😍 Lugar spectacular in the middle of nature to be able to disconnect. Also, being a birthday celebration they left us a lot of details in the house, which is not everywhere. Lovely and very attentive Elena😚 I will definitely return!

A stay to be repeated without a doubt. Cozy accommodation in perfect condition. A quiet area with different routes to take, easily accessible. A perfect place to disconnect. The host was helpful at all times and provided facilities during the stay.

Perfect for a family reunion. The only drawback was the lack of hot water in all the bathrooms at the same time.
