The small house, which sleep 3 people, has been carefully restored and joined together and it is not only comfortable but stylishly and artistically furnished. The house sits on the side of Mount Neritos, completely surrounded by terraces of trees, and the stillness is only broken by goat bells that float on the air, cicadas that rattle, and the sea that murmurs just below. The position of the house offers dramatic views and breathtaking sunsets, and Kandiliotika is perfect for those looking for a hidden retreat for painting, writing, composing, yoga, snorkelling, swimming, reading, relaxation and renewal. Ithaca is a beautiful, rugged and untouched place which welcomes visitors with its simple pleasures. The 19th century farmhouse,located on hill of Pilikata,a little outside of the village of Stavros next to archeological museum. Like muse Euterpe was bringing "pleasure" to people's lives,my grandmother Euterpe,by bringing Ithaca into our life,gave us a valuable present. The pure nature were offering us memorable magical images,inside the tranquillity of landscape. Villa Anna commands a fantastic position. A very short walk (literally at the end of the driveway) to the beautiful beach and a number of brilliant tavernas. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, offering privacy and luxury. The villa was immaculate, with spectacular views. Excellent sun loungers and various areas to enjoy the sun, or seek out some shade, we were very comfortable and happy. A bedding and towel change mid week was welcome. Lovely bathroom/shower rooms, with plenty of hot water. Some well stocked local supermarkets within easy walking distance, but be prepared for the steep hill to one of them. Ample parking at the villa, there are quite a few steps up to reach the villa which is above/behind Villa Paloma, which has a sign on the beachfront road.

We had a wonderful stay at this villa - the views were beautiful, and the houses all had everything needed for a fantastic stay. The hosts was very helpful and responsive for the entire holiday and beforehand. We loved the resident cats (especially Beer the black and white cat!! We will miss him 💔). Definitely requires car hire to stay here, but a quick drive to shops, beaches and towns. Had an amazing holiday and would love to come back!!

Thoroughly recommend Kate's home for a relaxing and peaceful stay in nature. It was a really lovely authentic experience with the friendly family feeding the animals and beautiful walks to the beach. The home had everything needed for some self catering and was also very close to Lefkada for easy trips into town to try out restaurants. The rooms were very comfortable and well apportioned and the outdoor shower was very helpful for washing beach things. We struggled to find it due to local road closures but the map and recommendations Kate provided really helped us make the most of our stay! Book it if you love nature, being away from the crowds but close to the town for everything you need.

We had a great stay ! The apartment was super clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The location was ideal - close to restaurants, cafes and beaches. The absolute highlight was the spectacular terrace with the private pool and the incredible view that left us speechless - we enjoyed every moment there, from the morning coffee to the evening wine overlooking the sunset. The host was extremely welcoming and helpful, always available to answer questions and recommend places to visit in the area. It was a great value. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay!

We had a fabulous week at Lighthouse Villa 2. Hosts were responsive and attentive, Villa was great in every way with a more than workable kitchen area with all the gadgets. Pool was cold but that was welcome on a 33 degree day and lovely once you were in. Well appointed, beautiful scenery. Takes around 30 minutes to walk into Argostoli centre where you can find everything you need. We hired a car and quads and it was great to get about the island. There are 2 small restaurants about 50 yards from the villa which are both lovely and friendly. The washing machine was a great addition as we came home with clean clothes - bonus There are plenty of supplies of essentials at the Villa, from sun cream to alcohol from previous guests. Dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid etc. We would definitely stay again
