Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Embalse del Neusa

Margarita’s country home is a true gem! Surrounded by nature, peaceful, and beautifully maintained — it was the perfect getaway for my family. My kids absolutely loved exploring the outdoors, and we all felt so recharged after our stay. Margarita was a wonderful host, attentive and kind. We’re already dreaming of coming back. Highly recommended!

A beautiful place, surrounded by nature to disconnect from the city. The house is beautiful, impeccable and well-maintained. The host is extremely friendly, attentive and willing to solve any problem.

The house is exactly as Rosa described it. The view of the reservoir is unmissable! We had a great time and both Rosa (host) and Rodrigo (who welcomed us and was always attentive) were very kind. We didn't feel cold at any time. The fireplaces (outside or inside) do an excellent job.

We booked the house for a family Christmas and New Year’s vacation. Mary’s house was the perfect fit. She made us feel right at home. We had the greatest time thank you very much to Mary.

Everything was as expected and the friendliness and hospitality were next to none. Everything Karen and Samuel did from offering breakfast service to making us feel at home was more than we could have asked for. However, there are a few things to keep in mind that are just quirks of being in the boonies: the reception is spotty at best inside the house due to the construction materials, and the WiFi is mostly unavailable and slow due to being in the mountains (don’t expect to get anything done, just enjoy the views and seclusion this place offers), Uber/DiDi/Cabify are nearly impossible to get after dark if you want to leave and people are hesitant to take you back (tell the driver they won’t have to pay the toll on the way back from Chia), and lastly there is no hot water (particularly if you’re coming from the US technically hot by Colombian standards). Stay here if you want to unplug, enjoy nature, and take cold(er than expected) showers.

We had a very nice weekend. The property is very well equipped, you can breathe fresh air and both the property and the view are beautiful.

It is a very nice, comfortable and very well endowed house. It's cozy and the atmosphere is warm and doesn't feel cold despite the outside temperatures. We would definitely stay there again.

David was an excellent host, always friendly and proactive. As for the place, it's better than what you see in the photos.

Gladys is a great person If you want to feel at home, kind and pampered, this is the place for you. I came with my pets, they really enjoyed it! Delicious breakfast and always attentive to everything. I came to rest for a few days, I slept wonderfully and everything was very quiet. I didn't go out to restaurants or anything, but the town of Tengo is 10 minutes away! Or less! And there is Uber or taxi service!

I had a great stay! The apartment is clean with lots of natural light. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook and the overall feel of the apartment was very comfy. The only downside is that Calle 134 is busy - less so at night, but definitely noisy during the daytime. Overall recommend it!

Hernan and Ana Maria were incredibly responsible, hospitable, and friendly hosts. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome and well taken care of. The cabin itself was cozy, peaceful, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The views were absolutely breathtaking—truly a perfect place to relax and unwind. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Great stay and a very relaxing place. They have everything you need to cook (plates, glasses, pots/pans and an outdoor gas BBQ. There was plenty of firewood available for the small stove which heats the house well at night. The house is high up on the mountain and has a great view of lake. The host lives in the house next door and it is best to have her meet you if possible on arrival. Directions to the house can be complicated so get in touch with the host and she will explain everything. We enjoyed the place very much!!!!

It's a wonderful place to meditate, rest, walk, read. The nicest thing was Tormenta (the neighbor's dog), who visited us, very playful. Andres was always attentive. I hope to return soon. Thank you!

Execelente place to rest and get out of the routine; silence is the best of the place

A perfect retreat to disconnect. The space is small but comfortable, with exceptional attention from the host. The location is ideal, close to Bogotá but in a quiet and natural environment. The cottage is tastefully decorated and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The feeling of peace and quiet is palpable, there is a lot of green, flowers and birds around and the view from the cottage is spectacular. Great for couples or people looking for a quiet retreat. Perfect for rest and recharge.

We loved the stay, it is a very nice, clean, comfortable, quiet, well located and surrounded by many nature perfect to disconnect, exceed our expectations, we would definitely return. We appreciate the kindness and hospitality of Juan Camilo and Mrs. Carmen.

This place is simply magical: nature is present in all its splendor, with the song of the birds, the sound of the river and an atmosphere of peace and tranquility that is felt in every corner. Every detail has been taken care of with love and respect for the environment, offering an ecological, natural space full of a wonderful energy that invites a deep connection with nature. In addition, Corcho, his charming dog, was a perfect companion and guide, making us feel even more welcome.
